At least this time it wasn't as bad... but frustration still pulsed through the large, well-muscled tom's veins as he thought of the patrols. Would this be the last batch he assigned, or would he get one more? He wasn't sure, but he had a feeling of finality. When I can, whether or not I've been demoted by that point, I'm going to talk to Twilightstar. They needed harsher punishments since despite the risk of exile, not many cats seemed to be following the rules. Only one patrol hadn't reported in this time, which was good. Another patrol hadn't come in because apparently, the patrol leader, Silentstorm, had been missing. Wolffang scowled to himself. The other members of the patrol should've stepped up. Should he exile them instead, or just give them a stern warning?
Whatever. There was business that had to be done here. "Leopardfire, Tidepaw, Tigerthroat! Get over here." Wolffang had been through a lot, but he knew that the Clan had to be provided for properly, and he wasn't going to soften up to his Clanmates. His tone was strict and serious as he scanned around for those three cats.
First, his gaze fell on Leopardfire, the spotted she-cat. "You. You had a patrol to lead - a hunting patrol, of all things, when we need prey so much in leaf-bare. And you didn't step forward to do it. As the patrol leader, it is your responsibility to make sure that the patrol gets done. Correct?" He didn't wait for a response. "This is your first time being late for a patrol, so for the next seven days, you are exiled from WindClan. When your exile is over, go back to Twilightstar and rejoin. Afterward, make sure that you're able to properly provide for your Clan."
@ Silverfur & Co [Your character must be exiled seven days real life time after you respond to this post. They must have a minimum of two posts in the Outskirts before rejoining with Twilightstar.]
Okay, now onto the additional cats he had called over. "Tidepaw and Tigerthroat. You two were the members of Silentstorm's patrol. Even though she went missing and was unable to lead the patrol, you two should've taken responsibility into your own paws to get it done. But you didn't. Actually, any cat whose patrol leader fails to report in should put the responsibility into their own paws to do it. This is just a warning to you two, since you had no patrol leader and apparently couldn't seem to get anything done without her. Our Clan needs to be protected. But you two will be punished for slacking, since you didn't seem to get anything done on your patrols."
@ Naiad @ Tracker
"Tawnypaw [ @StormQueen ], Tidepaw, Tigerthroat, Gingerice [ @Yeeter ], Palecloud [ @doof ], Speckledpaw [ @Whisperingwishes ], and Dappledfern [ @Unfairyfied ]! I am disappointed by the amount of names I had to call out just now. I have had good notice that all seven of you have been slacking off on your patrols by not getting enough accomplished. As punishment, you will have to do what the other punished cats did, which is collecting moss by the Thunderglade. You should all be ashamed of yourselves for your lack of cooperation."
[If you are getting punished for slacking, then that means you did not get a minimum of two posts with your character actively doing the patrol. Remember that posts in the patrol place do NOT count. I will make a post in the punishment thread as soon as possible. If your character is inactive/has gone missing, then they are not required to do the punishments.]

Leopardfire scowled at this " we had just set foot back into camp was getting ready to report to you that's fine go ahead ND exile me then." She places her two rabbits she had caught on the patrol in the pile and left.

Re: WindClan Breezerock
Yeah Crowtooth was defiantly still half asleep and not totally aware of the world around him from his jump at Midnightpaws words. The ugly squawk that came out of his mouth was strange to say the least but eventually he managed to rally with a double take at the apprentice and a long blink.
"Oh heya Midnightpaw it's good to see ya I was worried. It has been a long time hasnt it welcome home. Want a little update of what ya missed? Its mainly nothin' but I'd want an update if it was me." He'd never really gone missing though the toms lazy consistency a good part of his personality though it was balanced by his bad aspects. Midnightpaw had miss pretty much only the windstorm though so maybe she didnt want to know.

Re: WindClan Clearing
CROWGAZE ⛧ @ xaandiir
Bothered him? Oh no no no! "No one bothers me unless they plan to rip my fur off!" He responded with a sliver of humor uncovering from his usual tone. A soft grin leapt from his maw, and he got up, pushing his paws until his long legs raised him up into a stand, and he lowered his head until he was a mouse-length apart from her own. "How's it looking in the Nursery? You doing alright? Who's your mom?" Mousebrain, you're still a stranger to her! What's your name? Tell her your name! You're a friendly guy, it's what you do! "Ehh... oh! And- and my name's Crowgaze! Sorry if I didn't say that before.." He shifted his paws awkwardly. He wasn't very good with words, especially when his own mind decided to yowl at him about what he was doing wrong.

⛧ Days'Kit ⛧~ @ xaandiir
⛧~ He lifted his head " You may as along as long as you eat it all" He'd tease but he tucked his head in his tuff and wrapped his tail around by his noes. "What's your name?" His muffled voice was still clear enough to understand but he didn't even open an eye to face the kit. ~⛧

Re: WindClan Clearing
Whisperkit didn't seem bothered by the social awkwardness that Crowgaze displayed. They nodded and bowed their head respectfully to the warrior. "I'm Whisperkit," they meowed, supplying their own name in response.
"The nursery is doing well," they continued. Looking over their shoulder, they pointed their nose towards one cat in particular. "There's my mother. She's tending to the other kits at the moment. Two of them got into a fight, I'm afraid."
Whisperkit's gaze returned to the warrior. "Have you been out patrolling recently? Mother is always speaking of the outside. It seems quite exciting to go out and chase rabbits."

Re: WindClan Nursery
Whisperkit nodded and moved to the shrew, happily swallowing it down. They looked back to their denmate. "Whisperkit," they replied. "Yours is Dayskit, is it?" They had heard one of the queen's call to him on one of the previous days.
They sat down and licked their lips and paw to clean their face. "When you are feeling more awake, we could play together. We'll need to learn to use our strength as we grow."
They paused as a breeze blew through the nursery and their ear turned towards the wind for a moment before their focus returned to Dayskit.

Re: WindClan Clearing
❀ Lotuswhisper (he/him) ❀
➢ Oh Twilightstar, why did you have to give me an apprentice? That was the only thought going through the large black-and-gray tomcat’s mind as he woke up. With a deep grumble slipping from him, Lotuswhisper rolled out of his nest and walked outside into the Windclan camp clearing. It was early, but not too terribly early. He already had his paws full with keeping a close eye on his siblings, as well as his mate and kittens. Now he had a young apprentice to train on top of it all. Wonderful. Even more chores that kept the burly warrior away from his flowers. Normal mentors woke their apprentices up, letting them know that it was time to start the training day.
However, Lotuswhisper wasn’t like normal mentors. Strolling over to the fresh-kill pile, his amber eyes didn’t even look towards the apprentice den. He picked up a plump lark and laid down nearby, tearing into the feathered prey without hesitation. His tail swept across the ground behind him as he ate in silence. Lotuswhisper was far from a friendly-looking warrior. He was huge with a muscular build and an intense gaze, anyone would think he belonged in Shadowclan rather than Windclan. However, the maine coon tomcat was born here, despite his peculiar appearance. Part of him was curious how this young one -- Splotchpaw -- would be while he trained them, but he did not let it show. If his apprentice wanted to train, then they would have to seek him out themselves. He was never one to seek out cats, no, they usually came to him. It was how he landed Snowflower as a mate.

Oh-ho-ho-ho! Yes! He'd managed to escape! The white and tortoiseshell patched apprentice grinned mischievously to himself as he wriggled out of the apprentices' den. Luckily they usually ignored him, so he could get away from them and their... Personalities, easily.
Splotchpaw was more than eager to start marching into the center of camp, ready to start his day... Only to spot a familiar shape in the center, eating. Oh no. Not him. Splotchpaw couldn't deal with Mr.Oh-My-StarClan-I'm-So-Grim-And-Dark right now. Especially since the tom certainly seemed to not like him. The young apprentice shuddered and turned around, aiming to leave camp right that moment. He could figure out the territory by himself: it couldn't be that hard, right? And besides, Lotuswhisper almost always ignored him, so he wouldn't notice Splotchpaw being gone, right? Yes! The positives of being ignored!

Re: WindClan Apprentices' Den
~Streampaw~
The apprentice stared at Raypaw with tired yellow eyes as he turned away from her for a moment. He seemed to be hiding something from her, or possibly ashamed? The golden tabby had been acting rather strange after she had asked that question. Perhaps he wasn't as aloof as she'd thought. When he responded, his voice sounded as stiff as an old oak tree. The apprentice said he was fine, which was obviously a fib. While it may have been true, that Sunshade was a strong warrior, she could still understand his worry for him. The tom then smiled at her, yet once again it was simply a false, plastered on a smile to mask his true worries. That seemed to be a pattern in Raypaw. Masking negative emotions with false positivity. The dilute calico coughed a few times before hearing the tom wanting to discuss something different.
Streampaw had to admit that this conversation was getting slightly gloomy, and she wouldn't be bothered to change the subject. She had a few things still in her buzzing mind. Deadmoon not being the most competent mentor she had hoped for, Mantis, was a thorn in her paw that she would deal with later if he ever came back. That rouge that she'd never gotten the name of, Cobwebpaw getting the attention of Slatefrost. Slatefrost... How would he think of her in this state? He would've comforted her if he wasn't busy right? Or was he busy with Cobwebpaw? Streampaw face scrunched up at the thought, before returning back to her typical calm yet calculating expression. The slender apprentice tilted her head back towards Raypaw, staring at his expression before speaking.
"Do you have any cats that you wish to wish were just, slightly more competent at their duties? Say an apprentice wishes to skip a training session to hang out with their denmates. That would be fine if it was just a rare occurrence, but what if they keep creating excuses for slacking off?" Streampaw didn't exactly know where she was going with this conversation. Possibly Raypaw could also share his distaste for slackers, or is he just yet another cat who just lets those cats go on without any consequences?
@ ~Gale~ (Gah sorry for the late response, just was a bit stressed out with personal stuff)

❀ Lotuswhisper (he/him) ❀
➢ Tearing more into the delicious lark between his paws, the large Windclan warrior immediately caught the silhouette of another cat emerging from the apprentice’s den. He swallowed another bite of his food, expecting the tomcat apprentice to come over to him, ranting and raving about being excited to start training -- much how his experience with young Rabbitpaw had been -- but to his surprised confusion, as a few seconds passed, there was nothing. Lotuswhisper knew immediately that this was not a good sign, remembering his younger moons of babysitting his younger brother and two rambunctious sisters. He turned his head swiftly, locking his deep amber-hued gaze onto the back of a white tortoiseshell apprentice about to leave camp. That one was his apprentice, without a doubt and to his utter dismay. This wasn’t gonna be an easy process for him, was it? The large dark-furred maine coon was almost tempted to let Splotchpaw go, but he knew in the back of his mind, he, of all cats, would suffer the consequences and be scolded by Twilightstar for his poor mentoring skills. “And where do you think you’re going?” Lotuswhisper huffed at Splotchpaw in a stern, booming tone. The burly tomcat eased himself into a sitting position, wiping a stray feather off his muzzle with one paw as he stared at the younger tomcat with a narrowed gaze, awaiting an answer.
