Goose he-him

Goose bounded around the unclaimed territory, today was his day to hang out with dad! It felt like they’d spent forever tucked away in their den but today he could go out without having to sneak around. “Come on Dad! Don’t be a slow-mole!” he laughed. He’d heard that this area used to be owned by big groups of cats who fought tooth and claw for every scrap of the place, but now it was owned by nobody. Ha! Sure showed them what happens when you try to hoard things to yourself.

The golden bengal raced after Goose. "I'm comin, kiddo." He purred, staning beside the kit. "Gosh, youre getting so big." He let out an amused mrow, licking behind Goose's ear. "What did you want to do today, besides running 'round?" He asked, catching his breath.

Goose laughed, batting away Sun’drops licks with his paw, a light pur rumbling in his throat. “I wanna explore! Is it true this area used to be guarded by huge groups of savages? I heard my siblings talking about it once I think. That would be so cool!” he crouched down, a butterfly crossing their path. Goose wiggled his haunches before jumping towards it, batting his paws at it but just barely missing it.

Goose’s eyes widened. “What?! 24 moons? That’s soooo old!” he mewed with a laugh. He was only 3 moons, why Sundrop must have been here when lions and tigers roamed the world! Goose always liked the stories with the ancient forms of cats the best, the idea of extremely powerful cats bigger than the trees themselves was such a cool thing to think about.

"Come on Goose, don't be a slow mole!" He teased, a bit infront of Goose. While he could easily outrun Goose, he didnt want to discourage his son. He stayed still for a moment, awaiting Goose to dash passed his paws.

Goose growled playfully. “Hey! That’s my insult!” he laughed, immediately beginning to sprint forward. No way he was gonna be a slow mole! Where he was running wasn’t something he really thought about, just that he needed to keep running.

Goose continued to race forward, he wondered what they would find! Old wild cat group areas? Maybe an abandoned fox den? An INHABITED fox den?? Ooo what if they found a badger? That would be awesome! He’s be able to fight a badger and show off how strong he is!
