The Clan took to the new deputy as they did with almost every other deputy she had given them, with praise and joy. Fallownose accepted his new rank like a duck to water, Twilightstar's eye flickered over to the elder who seemed to be having some sort of fit of some sort. Cowpaw was already being called and the Whitefeather, aided by her clanmates, was being taken to the Cowpaw's den. Twilightstar felt quite a bit of tension bleed off her very soul now that she had a full set of ranks in WindClan again. Even as inexperienced as he was, she trusted Cowpaw would be able to help Whitefeather.

The leader waved her tail to call any stray attention back to her as she wrapped up this meeting. "Streampaw [ @DeltaDace ], Wrenpaw [ @InsertCoolNameHere ], Bearpaw [ @Parabatai ], Rainypaw [ @error ], Midnightpaw [ @~Fierce~ ], Swiftpaw [ @Void ], Rabbitpaw [ @Angelique ] and Beastpaw [ @Pheasantflight ]. All eight of you are in need of reassignments." One could tell from Twilightstar's tone that she was not at all happy about this but it's not like she could do much when their mentors go missing or the apprentices themselves did.

"Lioncloud [ @Kunaiskrill ], you'll be training Swiftpaw. I'd keep a close eye on him and pay attention to his training. He's recently returned from missing." Twilightstar advises lightly before moving on to the next paws.
"Slatfrost [ @Brightlight ], you'll be in charge of Streampaw's training.
Bearpaw, you're new mentor will be Mouseclaw [ @GoldenDays ].
Crowgaze [ @VexSkullz ], I want you to mentor Midnightpaw.
Poisondrop [ @x ghostie ], You can train Beastpaw.
Lilacdawn [ @Zesha ], Wrenpaw will be your apprentice from today onward.
Rainypaw, Icestorm [ @Kingly ], will be taking over your training."
Finally, Rabbitpaw, you're new mentor will be Vixenlight."

After the mentors and apprentices found and greeted each other, Twilightstar ended the meeting. "Unless I've forgotten someone or something, this meeting is dismissed."

She looked at her paws, fear coursing through her. What if it happened again? She felt so bad... it hurt her to think of what she did did her father,, Ashstrike. She murdered him. She was sitting down on her own in the corner of the clearing.. She was afraid to leave camp. She didnt want want run into another outsider like Leopard. She took a deep,, wavering breath breath walked over to the fresh-kill pile and picked up a small rabbit. She walked back to the corner, tripping every once and awhile as she got caught in her thoughts. She set down the rabbit and started nibbling on it, worried that someone would bother her. She was stoll caught in her thoughts, her head pounding at the thought of everything. It hurt. So much. She just wished it would stop. But it never did. It just kept pounding.

The blood from the dead rabbit freaked her out and she jumped back, fear coursing through her, before realizing that it was just her imagination. There was no blood. She took a deep breath and smiled, the thoughts leaving her, and finished the rabbit. She put the bones in a pile, and after doing so, walked out into the clearing. She wouldn't ming teaching an apprentice some hunting. Or just to have a conversation, nevertheless. She smiled and looked around for some company. Her mother still had to help her sleep. It bothered her, but she wouldn't let that bother her now.

Cardinalkit stayed latched on for a moment longer, then clambered off. "You can teach me battle moves but first I wanna do ONE round of moss ball. Unless you're scared of LOSING. " HA, she got him there!

Slatefang narrowed his eyes. “I ain't scared of losing but playing mossball makes me lose all my dignity, that's what it does. I was offering you a game for your own sake and if you don't want to learn battle moves we won't play at all,” he meowed stubbornly.

The fluffy kit snorted, scuffling her paws and then brightened. She would just make him play! "You won't lose your dignity because moss ball makes you look cool. Pretty pretty please?"

Trotting into the Nursery, after a rather successful hunt, was none other than Goldenheart. A hare was clamped proudly between her jaws. She had never been all that talented in fighting. Actually, one could almost say that she purposely failed at her training. Whenever her mentor instructed her to practice her fighting moves with a Clanmate, she would refuse. Whenever she was taught a new move, she was unable to perform it.

She'd never enjoyed the thought of spilling another cat's blood. Even less killing them. Which, unfortunately, was becoming a trend between the Clans. Not even Gatherings were safe anymore, it appeared. Her nose wrinkled at the thought. She had decided that she wasn't going to attend the March Gathering. Her parents' deaths still laid heavy in her mind and she'd rather not meet ShadowClan. While she wasn't skilled in fighting, she was decent at hunting. She preferred to only hunt for the kits and queens. That was fine, right? She felt that familiar feeling of her insecurity. Was feeding the cats who dwelled in the Nursery enough? There were certainly plenty of kits that needed tending to. It wasn't like she was unable to fight. She could defend the Nursery if the need arose.

She grinned at the kits and queens in the Nursery, then placed her catch onto the ground. "Is anyone hungry?" She inquired, "There should be enough here for some cats to share." As she waited for someone to claim the prey, she crouched down in her nest. She did find herself wondering what her peers thought of her. Were they pleased that she'd found her place? Or did they condone her for not being a proper Warrior? Did she even care? That was why she loved being around kits. She didn't have to worry about them judging her for who she was.

He had always been very good at mossball when he was a kit so maybe this would work fine. He didn't let go of the fact that this was an absolute ridiculous waste of time, though, and Cardinalkit obviously had no respect.

Yay! He was going to play with her! Letting out a delighted squeak, Cardinalkit ran backwards to get the appropriate distance away, and jumped up and down. Woo hoo! As soon as she was situated, she looked up. "Ready!"

His ears pricked at his mother's calling. He turned his head and saw Pinestrike and Lioncloud talking. He padded over, "hey, Pinestrike! Haven't seen you in a while! Everything alright, mother?" he said smiling and looking at the two cats.

She smiled, and walked over to her new apprentice. "Hello, swiftpaw." She purred. "I'm your new mentor. Get a rest today, and we'll start tomorrow."
