Rainburst trailed behind Snowfire, following her. The went behind the warrior's den, and walked straight until the got to a clearing.

"When did you find the cave?" Rainburst asked Snowfire as she followed behind. She was curious. She'd never found this cave in all her 13 moons here. What had made Snowfire discover it? Or create it?

"Well, it's kind of embarassing to say out loud because it shows how clumsy I am, but I fell into it. I was chasing a sqirell and it climbed a tree and escaped, so I was looking for more prey and wasn't watching my paws." Snowfire was a very clumsy cat and she knew it

"Ouch." Rainburst winced, as if she had been the one to run into a tree. Rainburst hurried forwards to match her pace with Snowfire's. She peered ahead. "Hey, is that it?" Rainburst meowed, thinking she saw a cave head.

Rainburst bounded forwards excitedly towards the den, so excited that she didn’t even notice the small vine lying on the ground. It was dead, brown and brittle, so it blended easily with the rich brown dirt.

Rainburst shrieked when she fell, flying almost comically through the air and landing with a painful thud. Rainburst laid prone for a moment, before getting up, somewhat shakily, to her feet. “I’m fine!” Rainburst said. “Let’s just go inside.” Rainburst’s fur felt like it was burned almost, at embarrassing herself in front of another cat.

Rainburst nodded her head halfheartedly. She then perked up, looking from the cave to Snowfire. "Here, you go in first!" She meowed. It was Snowfire's cave, after all.

Rainburst peered into the darkness nervously. It didn't look that scary, but she still wanted Snowfire to go first.

Rainburst peered into the darkness nervously. It didn't look that scary, but she still wanted Snowfire to go first.

"Ok I'll lead. There's no real need to be scared you know." Snowfire meowed
"Don't worry the only dangers I've seen around here is a Jackrabbit."

Rainburst nodded her head a little too enthusiastically, beaming. "After you," She said, gesturing with a flick of her tail towards the cave entrance. Rainburst tried not too pay attention too the looming darkness. She was a Shadowclan cat! What was a little pitch black, scary, anything-can-jump-out-at-you darkness? Pfff. It would be nothing.

Rainburst made an almost overdramatic gasp. "Of course!!!" She yowled, her voice high pitched and loud. Rainburst's eyes widened at his terrifyingly loud she was being, so she quickly lowered her voice. "I mean, of course." Rainburst said with a nervous smile.

She bounced quickly after Snowfire imnto the cave. Which wasn't at all dark, scary, mysterious in a bad way, or anything else. Rainburst wasn't afraid of the dark at all! How could she be, she was a Shadowclan cat! It was impossible!

But her fears quickly vanished. And Rainburst gasped again, this time at what she saw.
