Featherkit buried herself into her mother's fur, overjoyed. She finally had a family member back. Finally. "Mommy" She gasped, clinging to her mother. When her mom asked how things had been, the lynx point raised her head and shrugged. There were no words to describe it. It had sucked. She had been so alone. But now she wasn't alone, she had her mom. "Yes." She croaked out softly. How was her mama back?

When Crowtooth decided to sit beside her, Goldenheart was stunned. She wasn't anticipating any company. It was who had decided to sit next to her that truly surprised her. Goodness, if it wasn't Crowtooth. From what little she knew, he tended to be a loner. What had sparked him into joining her company? Was he feeling lonely? Was he searching for some gossip? If he was, she didn't have much gossip to provide him. Her days weren't all that interesting.

When ShadowClan was mentioned, a scowl fixed itself upon her muzzle. It seemed that she wasn't the only one thinking that ShadowClan might be causing problems. "Do you think that they would start trouble? I mean, Dawnstar is in ThunderClan. Would it really be wise for ShadowClan to start trouble?" Then again, what if Dawnstar was plotting with ThunderClan? Could she be willing to lead both Clans into battle? Would ThunderClan listen to her? Those thoughts made her feel uneasy.

She relaxed when he mentioned the possibility of apprentice reassignments. How did she feel about having an apprentice? She supposed that it would be nice. It could even help her to improve her skills. "I don't know." She responded, honestly, "I wouldn't mind training another cat. It might give me some confidence." She sighed and her gaze returned to her paws. "Then again, I'm not really all that skilled with fighting or hunting. I'm not sure whether I'd be a good choice to train an apprentice."

She was interrupted by Shattervenom, as the warrior attempted not to collide with her. The queen flashed a polite smile and dipped her head. Fortunately, Goldenheart was relatively good-natured. If she had been bumped into, she probably would have gotten annoyed, though she wouldn't have lashed out. She was about to offer for Shattervenom to sit with her and Crowtooth until she found herself a place to sit. Her whiskers twitched in mild amusement at the she-cat, before her attention returned to Crowtooth.

Seeing the familiar apprentice approach him, the burly warrior returned the smile with a warm, inviting one. It had been probably about a moon or maybe even two since the two of them had gone out of a hunt together, but nonetheless, it was nice for Lotuswhisper to see the nice hard-working youth again. Glancing around, he couldn’t help but frown a little as there was no sight of Leafheart anywhere. The dark-furred maine coon pondered their options before glancing back at Rabbitpaw. “Do you... think we should wait a little longer for them…” He asked Rabbitpaw, clearing his throat in-between his words, “...or should we just head out by ourselves?” The large tomcat was tempted to head out with just her at this point, growing a tad impatient now, but he didn’t wish to be rude either. It was conflicting, which was why he seeked out the young molly’s opinion of the matter. He didn't want the patrol to end up after dark, the thought alone made Lotuswhisper shudder.

Seeing that Leafheart was still not here the apprentice was becoming a little restless. Come on let's get this over with! Waiting a few more seconds she was about to suggest they go, but it looked Lotuswhisper had the same idea. They might as well not wait up. If they wanted to be on the patrol they could follow them out and catch up to them later. "They can catch up if they want to, but I really think we should get going.", Rabbitpaw meowed,calm, but you can tell the patience in her was low. She stood up and looked around one last time, but still didn't see Leafheart. Yeah they should get going. She hated being out past dark. There was so much her three legs could do and the dark was not her friend.
