Mountainhaze took the excited apprentice out on the territory. The weather was getting warmer, not that the cold bothered her anyway, she @was Elsa; had thick fur.

She was not one for conversation but she hoped the apprentice beside her knew how to hunt. If they didn't she'd teach them anyway.

Ignoring some of the disgruntled expressions from her clanmates, Twilightstar focused her attention on the pair of kits as they stepped up. Mistykit looked excited, Featherkit nervous, but normal emotions for kits being made apprentices. "From this day forth until you receive your warrior names you'll be known as Featherpaw [ poppy. ], and Mistypaw [ Dawnislost ]." It felt like it's been a while since she last said these words, but in hindsight, it's been even longer she had to say the ceremonial words for a warrior ceremony. She knew that she was merely being impatient for reasons unknown and taking it out on her clan, or at least that is what it felt like to her.

It's not like they could strive to do better if she was always reminding them of their shortcomings. "Mistypaw you're mentor will be Vineblaze [ Bean_the_cat ]." Twilightstar's gaze flickered over to golden tom with a mild scowl on her face. That tom didn't have a great deal of maturity and she wasn't exactly certain that he'd be a fitting mentor, but that didn't mean that she shouldn't give him a chance. She expected he'd do better with Mistypaw compared to Midnightpaw.

"Goldenheart [ Adderbite ], you'll be mentoring Featherpaw." Twilightstar's eye shifted over to cream and white molly chatting with the tunneler. Twilightstar was a bit more confident with this pairing over the first one. It was rare that any of the apprentices ever kept their mentors their whole apprenticeship as she proved moving on reassignments.

"Raypaw [ ~Gale~ ], Tigerpaw [ Leafspeaker ], Turtlepaw [ Shade. ], Foxpaw [ Birdiechirp ]. It's time for your reassignments." The leader's tone remained flat as she called all the apprentices up for their reassignment. The last is in a bit of a predicament.

"Shattervenom [ xath ], you'll take over Raypaw's training.
Tigerpaw, you'll be training with Hawkblaze [ rizthehuntress ] from now on.
Slatefang [ starry. ], you'll be mentoring Turtlepaw from now on.
Foxpaw I want you training with Brightdawn [ erebus ]." Twilightstar would admit that four reassignments were better than the usual number, but she'd be happier if she didn't have to do any but that would be the perfect clan.

"Silentpaw[ clock dragonshifter ], you've been demoted to a warrior for well over a moon now and don't seem to be trying to get your rank returned. Is this a reason for this?" Twilightstar hadn't thought that she need to actually assign a warrior to take care of her simple border training. All she needed to do is grab a warrior and check all three borders with them. Did she enjoy being demoted? While waiting for the apprentice's reply, the lilac leader took to addressing her clan.

"After some contemplating, I've decided it's about time we've taken back the Sky Glade." One could see that the decision weighed heavily upon the leader's shoulders but living in the past and the fear wasn't good for her or for WindClan. Perhaps it was seeing Dawnstar at the last gathering, or hearing the predicament that ThunderClan was in, but sitting idle wasn't doing any of them any good. The borders needed to be righted and the territory returned. ShadowClan's used that territory to slaughter her clanmates ruthlessly, they had no bodies to bury only spirits to mourn. It was time to right that wrong or at least try.

"I'll be taking one large patrol of warriors with me, and warriors alone, we'll push the borders back and dispose of the pelts. Fallownose will be staying here to take care of any problems that may arise while I'm gone." The WindClan leader felt it better to handle this issue herself than leave it to her deputy. "I'll decide who is coming with me, we're not out for revenge and I'm not interested in needless bloodshed or pain. I want to return what is ours. I'm not looking for volunteers, so don't start stepping up or asking."

Twilightstar meowed abruptly before her warriors could speak up. WindClan was not ShadowClan, she wouldn't tolerate her clanmates going out and causing pain and death just because it felt right or because they wanted to get even. An eye for an eye and the clans would go blind. With Dawnstar in ThunderClan, Twilightstar was hoping the molly would be far too busy to interfere. Dawnstar was a stronger fighter, but that wasn't what made Twilightstar reluctant to meet her in battle. It was her relentlessness and her inability to know when enough was enough. She'd kill for cruel entertainment or just to show that she could. Twilightstar wasn't here to kill anyone just get back what rightfully belong to them.
