The fox screeched as Owlglide clawed it's eyes and fled.

As it did, two kits, Duckkit and Swiftkit, crept out of an old burrow. They stared at their sister with wide eyes.

Phanting slightly, the brown tom watched the fox flee, not trying to chase after it as there were more important things to take care of, like the kit- kits? As he looked back, he could see two more coming out. Taking a better look at them before quickly blocking their sight of the bleeding kit by placing his long tail between them. "We have to get them back to camp." He mewed sternly yo Swiftleap. "Make sure that one doesn't bleed out, I'll take care of these" he gestured to the two new kits. "Go to Cowpaw. These two will be kept in the nursery, and I'll have to tell Twilightstar about this. Com'on then." He mewed and reached to pick up the two kits before heading back to camp.

CoyoteEar heard yowling and rushed over "OH my! You poor thing!" she exclaimed looking at the kit.

A shriek sounded in the nursery and then Shrubwhisper ran up to Tigerpaw and Swiftleap, her tabby fur bristling, "Have either of you seen my kits?" she begged.

Tigerpaw shrugged as Shrubwhisper suddenly ran up to them, begging if the orange tabby apprentice and Swiftleap knew where her kits were. Tigerpaw shrugged. "No, but I can help you look for them!" She leaped to her feet.

" Same here. Though I think there in the medicine den. I was out in the territory earlier and I heard them yowling. One of their names are Specklekit yes? She was attacked by a fox. Owlglide and myself chased it off, but Specklekit is very hurt. "

Specklekit cried out as she was carried into camp. Swiftkit and Duckit stayed silent, a traumatized look on both of their faces.
"Cowpaw!" Shrubwhisper wailed as she saw her kit. "Come quickly!"
