Ciara gasped, standing up and trying to run but stopped at Jake's voice. She turned around. He was standing by the front door of the building, looking at her. Ciara, who was within his vision, froze, staring at him. She breathed heavily, tears falling down her face, her neck bite still bleeding and throbbing, before she started crying, turning and running off, crying into her hands, her long dark gray hair flowing behind her.
