^^^ We aren't making it 16+. Here's' a refresher:

The long version: When an Other RP thread gains enough momentum to be made into a category, the owner(s) will decide what rating would be suitable for the roleplay - either a G-PG, PG-13, or R-rating. If they choose to make the roleplay rated R, a joinable group will be tailored to the roleplay - those who are not in the group will not have the ability to view the category's content. Requests to join the group can be sent easily, though they must be approved by staff to ensure the user is 16+ years old as indicated by the birthdate linked to the requester's account (if no birthdate is supplied, the request will be denied.)

So this will affect an extremely small percentage of roleplays, the qualifications being:
- It must be an Other RP.
- Also has to be large enough to become a category.
- And finally, the roleplay owner(s) have to decide it will be Rated R instead of the default G-PG or PG-13.
That's a fairly hefty list of requirements, and from experience (when we allowed roleplays to have ratings), not many roleplay owners will switch their roleplay to a higher age group in fear of driving off those who are not old / comfortable enough to participate.

Should a roleplay be rated R, you are only restricted from seeing that particular roleplay unless you join the corresponding group. The only thing you would not be able to see on WCO is that roleplay (and others that may be rated R) - nothing else will be hidden from view.

Isn't there a chance WCO could become PG-13 or higher if those become more popular might you make WCO 16+

As stated, WCO has PG-13 elements already.

Even if the Rated R role plays become exceedingly popular, no. The rating won't change because of marketing reasons.

Alright. Good I wanted to make sure it stays PG-13 as I'd have to leave otherwise due to parental rules.

But I don't understand these ratings though XD in UK we have G (basically baby movies) PG (kid movies) 12 (10-14 usually watch it) 15 (or a 16 I can't remember. This is where horror movies usually start at. Profanity starts at 12 but not very much. Also violence etc.) and 18 (the worst. Which I'm already assuming is gonna be R)

I have the same kind of thing! I was a little confused when I first read it but I'm assuming that the rating might be different in the US to Australia.

Am i the only one feeling dumb when I can't find like something that before the update with in the OOC area. Like General board, Site Assistance, RP Reasorces (IDK what the new name is), Plot Resorces, Introductions, Monthly Kudos, Visual Arts, ECT. I mean, I've been here long enough I remember the old Monthy Kudos before it returned and stuff.
