The largest and oldest of the litter simply laid there. No. He wasn't dead like his sibling that he would never know.. or well know alive. What was he supposed to be doing? Hmm, smells were coming from all types of angles and none of them caught the kits attention more than the soft warm one he was the closest to. Maybe that's what he was supposed to be doing. The dark charcoal gray tom started to move towards the thing infront of him. The kit took another few moments before starting to suckle. Was this all the kit had to do? Surely there was more to this whole thing.

The air that blew on her wet fur made the she-kit mew loudly at the cold sensation that flooded through her. It felt uncomfortable, strange for her to feel this way. She was caught by surprise at the sudden warmth on top of her that lasted for a couple of heartbeats but went away quickly. The small kit was suddenly aware of the absence of warmth but was quickly nudged close to some Thing. Milk flooded her senses as she realized she was able to eat and quickly began to suckle next to what she assumed to be something beside her that was similar to herself.


After a while, a couple more of those Things began to squirm around her and on top of her and eventually ended up in her getting pushed away from her source of food and a lot less close to warmth as well. She let out a soft wail of frustration as she struggled to find her way back and when she did, she couldn't get close to the milk supply. The Things keep pushing her away. It was frustrating.

Ah, she was rather late with this lesson. Perhaps she ought to keep it short, as the day was nearing its end, but the lesson still needed to be held. Hm. Perhaps it could act as some bedtime story... If she kept it mild enough. Patiently waiting for Harekit to arrive, the sweet but shy little one, the queen sat down and wrapped her tail around her paws with a gentle smile.

Harekit trotted up excitedly but clumsily towards Nightshiver he couldn't wait for his first lesson ever he really hoped it'd be fun it probably would be because one of his favourite cats was teaching it right?

"H-Hi Nights-shiv-er!" he squeaked sweetly as he plopped himself down in front of his teacher with a happy smile "W-What am I g-gonna learn?" he asked curiously he knew it was history which was old stuff right? But what kind? Were there kinds? He had so many questions!

Skybranch, Spiderkit, Flamekit, Eaglekit and Littlekit slept.

He was immediately cold, and he was immediately displeased.

With a huff, the tiny black and white fluffball kicked out a leg and tried to bury himself closer to the big warm ball in front of him. It smelled good. Felt warm. He was COLD and he was HUNGRY, how dare the forces of nature make him so uncomfortable.

DuskKit wiggled her way over to her momma, latching on to her mother… She was much bigger than most of her littermates, all but SpiralKit… Never the less, she was absolutely huge…! She seemed to already have a personality, easily pushing her smaller littermates to drink some warm milk…

Cloverkit - The Lucky One

Cloverkit tossed and turned in his nest. His nerves unrelenting as they fought against each and every wave of sleep. Try as he might, he couldn't shake the sense of dread he felt every time he closed his eyes. He worried that when he opened them again something terrible would happen. What that was wouldn't reveal itself to him, of course. So he would continue to shift in place, face scrunching as he battled with his restless unease.
