Rabbiteye made a few adjustments to Scalepaw's stance. "Right, I'll get it this time, to show you how it's done. Follow close and don't get under my paws," he mewed then headed to the squirrel.


He lowered himself into the hunter's crouch and slowly stalked closer. It did not notice him as it scuffed at the ground. When he was a tail length away he pounced at it and delivered the killing bite. "Thank you StarClan for this prey," he muttered under his breath. "You saw that?" he asked Scalepaw.

Hawkpaw decided she'd work on her hunting pose by her self, she was mostly self learned, but it didn't hurt to practice as much as she could!

"Good," he said and scratched some dirt over the freshkill. He scented the air again. Nothing. He padded away to try again elsewhere.


He was close to the ThunderClan border now. He sniffed again, making sure there where no patrols about. The wasn't, but there was a mouse near by.


"Anything?" he asked the young tom.
