It was a bit hard seeing Cascadepaw prioritize the new deputy over him.

He was used to being the problem-solver, the authority figure. But since he had gotten demoted, he had to accept the fact that that wasn’t him anymore. He was the warrior, not the deputy. So, taking a deep breath, he scooted away some to allow Ravenfrost to have the apprentices full attention. Shuffling his paws awkwardly, he almost started to wonder why he even dragged himself into this mess.

His name was mentioned by the apprentice though. He had been lost in the forest around him, and it took Windygale a few moments to recollect himself and hear what had been said. Mentor Cascadepaw? But... he already had an apprentice. Didn’t he? But it had been so long since he had seen Chestnutpaw, he was starting to think that the feline was gone for good. He didn’t want that though, and getting a new apprentice would mean he had given up on Chestnutpaw. Even though he had gone missing since Greenleaf, Windygale still held hope. So, with a shaky breath, he answered, “I - I don’t think I can mentor you, Cascadepaw. I have an apprentice already, Chestnutpaw.” He didn’t think the whole “missing” bit was worth mentioning. Ravenfrost may know what happened, but he doubted the younger cat did.

Ravenfrost narrowed her eyes a bit at that ,was it just because that windy was deputy before ? She wasn't sure but she wasn't gonna say yes because it the possibility of it being that , her ears twitched at what windy said which made her make her choice easier "sorry but no , windy already has an apprentice and I'm sure he doesn't want his paws to be too full. I know I wouldn't . " she answered as she decided to sit down speaking of apprentices.... I think it's about time I should take on one . the Molly flicked her ears as she waited "anyone else in mind?" she asked once again .

Dangerhawk lead the kit to the best hunting area in the Territory. "Do you smell anything?" He asked the kit.

Leopard sniffed the air, but it kinda smells little funny, but in a good way. "Well, i smell a faint scent coming closer, it almost smells like that rabbit from earlier, but a little more....odd." Leopard said, thinking if it's a younger rabbit than the previous, how odd. Is it even possible to tell the prey's age by their scent?

"Yes it is a rabbit but that wired smell that is probably because it ran into something." He said. "Now try to catch it and do what I thought you before." He whispered.

Leopard nodded as in 'ok' as he walked slowly closer to the direction where the rabbit is. As he got closer and closer, he changed his position from standing straight to crouching, while keeping his tail down as he was taught. When the rabbit got into a close line of sight, he waited a bit, watching the rabbit staying still as it was looking from behind.

When before the rabbit can turn it's head or move any muscle, Leopard jumped as he landed on the rabbit's back and neck, keeping his pressure from his front legs on the rabbit, eventually killing it. Then He went back to Dangerhawk, smiling while carrying the rabbit within his jaws (Rabbit was small). "How cool wassh chat?" He asked happily.

"That was cool. You know what you remind me of the time I got my first prey I had got it on my first try too?" He said. He thought for a second if he should bring back the prey to the camp or just eat it he knew that it would be against the warrior code but he was pretty hungry so he sat there and thought about it.

Dangerhawk started digging in the ground not saying anything and grabbed the rabbit and stuck it in the hole. He started walking further in the territory and moved his tail to tell Leopard to follow.

Leopard walked by Dangerhawk's side, unsure of what is going on for the half of it. "Dangerhawk, are you alright? What are we gonna do next?" Leopard is curious to know what, exactly.

Dangerhawk put his ears down. "Yes i'm fine and we are going to find some more prey." He said with a small growl. He didn't like it when other cats asked if he was okay because of what happened when he was younger and the memory was still fresh in his mind of what happened and every little detail.
