They flicked their tail. "Good job out there. You are dismissed." They yawned, heading over to the warriors den. @SpiritedWarrior

She began to practice her leap, trying her best to land with all four paws evenly spread out. She also began to point her tail in different directions and memorizing the signals.

Burningkit wasnt really sure who she expected to approach her first, really. Thankfully it wasnt some cat who had a weird interest in berating kits, nor was it a cat younger than her who wanted to get an ego trip. A sigh left her as sh glanced around once more, sharp amber eyes picking through the assortment of pelts around her. Some seemed familiar enough - she wasnt gone long enough to feel like an outsider just yet - but a few were...new. Be it former loners or formerly missing cats much like herself, the clan had grown during the moons she had been missing.

Still, one pelt in particular grabbed her attention. It was someone who she was sure she could have recognized no matter what. "father" she greeted smoothly, or as smoothly as one could considering the circumstances. She sat down in front of him, her half-missing tail tucking close to her body. "I left camp on my own. I already understand how foolish that was, and Dawnstar scolded me for it already. A twoleg injured my tail and took me to its den, which is where i've been the past moons" she replied, short and to the point.

The dark tom sat down, his eye catching on the she-kit's missing tail, his own stub twitching unconsciously. He listened to his daughter's explanation, a small bit of disappointment settling in as he pieced together the implication that she had left separate from Goldenstep and their other kits. His eyes narrowed slightly as his hopes were put on hold. Even still he couldn't help but throw the confirmation out there, "So you left on your own. Not with your mother." He didn't look away though he knew he wouldn't like the answer.

"If you don't want to be scolded for something then you should begin thinking through your decisions before doing something like running off on your own." Though there was a part of him that was mildly intrigued by her story of being captured by a twoleg, he found himself skeptical. It'd explain how a kit survived out on her own but he didn't know twolegs to simply let a cat go once they had their naked paws on one; it wasn't an easy feat to simply escape, from what he knew. "You say the twoleg did that to you," he looked pointedly down at Burningkit's severed tail, "Then healed you. Why would it do such a thing?"

The little white tom was eyeing his sister, waiting to pounce on her while she was distracted. His grey and white tail wiggled in the air before he jumped, knocking the smaller kit over. He was triumphant against his enemy! "You should pay more attention, Willowkit, or else you'll get taken by one of the other Clans!" His sentence was in jest, but came off ruder than he meant.

The queen ambled out of the nursery to escape the many loud kits for a moment. Her thoughts wandered as a neutral expression rested on her face. She found a flat rock and lay down on its warm surface, relaxing and twitching her ears around her to all the sounds in the clearing.
