"It's ok," Cedarleaf mewed. She looked down for a moment, then looked back up as she realized that if Sunripple was saying anything, she was missing it. But he wasn't saying anything. Cedarleaf's ear twitched. @rosetherosey

Sunripple looked back up not really knowing what to say. "I should get going." He had never really managed to get a full conversation with Cedarleaf for some strange reason. He always got a weird feeling around her he couldn't explain. Maybe it was because of her hearing loss he thought of her different? For now, it was one he didn't understand. As he walked away he glanced back. Should he have stayed to talk more? Well, he already walked off, it would be weird for him to come back. So instead he headed over to the warrior's den. Maybe if he got some sleep the feeling would go away. @Phoenix Fire

Cedarleaf nodded. She felt sad and disappointed when Sunripple walked off, but she couldn't figure out why. She hadn't ever felt this way around another cat. Normally she was actually kind of happy when another cat walked away. Talking made her feel awkward. And her conversation with Sunripple had definitely been awkward, but she didn't feel awkward around him. She felt something else, some sort of warmness and comfort when saw him and was with him. What was it? @rosetherosey

As Sunripple entered the den he went to his usual sleeping place. As he lay down he had trouble closing his eyes to fall asleep. He had regretted his decision to walk off. Did Cedarleaf hate him now? Finally, after contemplating his decision, he fell asleep. It was a light sleep, so even a tiny noise would've woken him up.

Flamepaw listened carefully to every word Flutterkit spoke, feeling a tinge of jealousy as she mentioned already having caught mice. And she hadn't even started training yet! Flamepaw pouted inertly, though was pulled out of it as Lightningkit spoke "he's right-" she nodded "what if Buckstar delayed your apprentice ceremony? You'd have to stay inside the nursery even longer!" Flamepaw told the other, back to her senses. No matter what she said though, the newly made apprentice had to admit that... Well, it was rather cool what Flutterkit had done.

[Sorry! I'm not sure I got mentioned, unless you mentioned me at the start. Which I see you did.]
A little female came out last. She was barely feeling the tiny bit alive but she mewed showing some sort of life now she was confused. What was she to do? She was just born.. And her mother wasn't touching her yet she couldn't summon the strength to move either so she was just a little mess laying back and mewing and mewing and mewing finally deciding she was just to hungry and cold she rolled over to what she thought was her mother she settled down at where she was at and suckled a bit she mewed quietly and fell asleep.

"I won't let that happen," Flutterkit muttered sullenly, but the other cats' words still reinforced her own misgivings. "I'll be the best apprentice ever! When Buckstar sees my mice, he couldn't help but be impressed!" Even though they were scrawny. And illegally caught.

Sighing, she tried to change the subject. "What's your training like?" she asked Flamepaw. "I want to be as prepared as possible for when I become a 'paw." Whether it would be a million moons, tomorrow, or never, she couldn't help but become infused with excitement at the thought of warrior training.
