Splitpaw looked back at Burnedpaw and nodded. "Sorry, usually I do but I wanna make sure that the elders, queens and kits have their food first." she said before turning her attention over to where a bunch of kittens were playing. "Just as the warrior code says right?"
Burnedpaw glanced at Splitpaw thoughtfully before letting out a small sigh. “Yes but think about it, what happens if those who are providing that care aren’t taking care of themselves?” He meowed, following her gaze to the kits. “If you lose your strength, and aren’t able to hunt, then we have less paws bringing back food. Which will have a negative impact on the ones you’re working for.” He looked at Splitpaw, his gaze serious. “You have to make sure you eat everyday. Otherwise you won’t be able to accomplish what you want.”

Splitpaw turned and looked at him as he spoke, everything he was saying was correct. If she wasn't strong or healthy enough then she couldn't do her part in helping the clan. "You are right, I'm sorry Burnedpaw." she meowed. "I wasn't thinking for myself but for the clan. I'll do better next time." she said turning her gaze away from him. He seemed very serious she thought, then let out a laugh. "Are you concerned for me?" she asked softly, turning her gaze back to him. Her one blue and green eye sparkled.

"Whats this about me having kits?" the half joking meow sounded from the tom, who, covered in leaf litter and small twigs, just stuck his head up out of his very amazing hiding spot, aka. random bush. "Last I checked; I wasn't pregnant." he added, fully joking now, with his iconic grin plastered across his maw. Breezepool had initially overheard his name, and was going to go try and spook his littermates by jumping out from behind this bush, but while positioning himself into the perfect pranking spot he just become more confused and interested in the actual conversation. Was he eavesdropping? Technically, yes. But he barely heard anything that made sense, so it didn't really count.

Wolfpaw yawned as he emerged from his den, blinking his green eyes in order to adjust to the brightness changes. The tom hobbled over to the prey pile, picking out a bird [wood pigeon] before hobbling to a space at the end of the clearing. He dropped the prey and laid down before starting to eat it. It was a nice day out, albeit kind of cold and misty. But the tom didn't mind it very much, but the cold air made him shiver slightly.

Burnedpaw nodded, satisfied that Splitpaw seemed to understand. You can’t help others if you don’t help yourself first. He pointedly flicked his tail at the bird between them, waiting for Splitpaw to take another bite. Her laugh took him off guard, and when he turned to look at her he felt whatever words he had were gone. His fur stiffened briefly before he regained his composure, looking away and clearing his throat. “Of course I am.” He answered matter-of-factly, his mind whirling for a logical response to back himself up with. “We’re denmates after all, we look out for each other.” He meowed finally. “And…we’re friends right?” He glanced at Splitpaw from the side timidly. Well, these reasons did check out so he was satisfied with that. But he couldn’t help but feel Charredpaw’s gaze burning into his pelt, shooting her a glare to mind her own business and ignoring her silenced giggling. Why was she teasing him so hard about this?
Splitpaw purred at him. "Well I appreciate it, Burnedpaw. Of course we are friends, why wouldn't we be?" she smiled brightly at him. Splitpaw felt someone's gaze on them, she turned her two mismatched eyes over to the culprit. Her eyes landed on a black she-cat. "Who's that?" she asked with a flick of her tail, forgetting the fish was in front of her. Why does she stare

wow a rare wolfpaw open post!!
risingstorm sat in the clearing his long tail wrapped around his paws it was good to have a longer coat during the colder moons as the Tom sat he noticed wolfpaw gathering a bird. The hornet hadn't talked to much to the young med cat, what a heavy role being med cat at a young age must be. using thought before standing up and grabbing a vole his favorite prey before he sat next to wolfpaw giving him space " hello wolfpaw hows things going? he asked he hoped things were well besides the sickness going around
A slim white she-cat stood in the clearing, her icy blue eyes were looking around for someone. Her ears twitched back and forth as she listened for her sister's voice.
