> Owlglide @Moonraven [A little bit late, but he is coming in to report this]
Blood still stained his shoulders and back when the brown tom padded back to camp. It wasn't his blood, but right now he was unsure if that was a good or bad thing. He would rather have been badly wounded than have to report yet another death. He hadn't taken the body with him into camp as to avoid any curious kits and apprentices being subject to the gory view of it, and a shiver still ran down his back as he thought about how he had found the cat. Mangled and ripped beyond recognition almost, and the only reason he managed to identify them was because of the scent he had still remembered.
He would have to go and properly bury the body, but first the report, this was important, and while he had originally just thought to do it by himself, there was a chance his leader would want to see the corpse beforehand.
So though his pawsteps were heavy, eh quickly moved towards the leader's den and stopped at the entrance, doing his best to hide the blood on him from curious glances from the nursery and apprnetices' den outside as he looked after his leader. "Twilightstar?" His voice was a little ___ so he cleared his throat a little before continuing. "I would have something to report. Not urgent, but very important."
"It's..." He found himself for the first time in a good while a little lost on where to start and how to describe everything, but took on a mask of calmness and pulled himself together. "It's about Cottonwish."
The tuxedo spun around at the strange cat’s words, his eyes full of distrust and sadness. He then stood back and shook his head.
“My house-folk locked me out, they don’t want me! I just… want to go to a safe place!” Tux desperately tried to keep himself calm so he didn’t look weak in front of the stranger, though he was horrible at hiding his true emotions. “The other animals that live in my territory are so aggressive, they wouldn’t like it if I started living around them, so my only choice was to get out of there, but… I-I didn't know where to go! W-who are you anyway? Y-you won’t attack me, will you?”
Tux unsheathed his claws and lashed his tail, though it was more out of nervousness and wariness than aggression. He had to be prepared, whether he was horrible at fighting or not.
@Moonraven
Twilightstar found herself not getting very far as she tried to lead the kittypet out of her territory. Gently and quietly huffing, the lilac-gray she-cat took a seat and figured she might as well as hear him out. She did it with everyone else. She flattened an ear as she told her that he had been kicked out o his home... so why didn't he just go find new twolegs to live with? He was clearly not cut out to be a wild cat, he was far too nervous and obviously easily spooked. She gave the scared cat a deadpanned look when he asked about her hurting him. See, way too timid for the feral life.
Nothing in Twilightstar's body langue screamed hostility or killing intent, her fur was flat, claws sheathed, and she was sitting it'd be hard to spring at him sitting as she. "You don't belong out here, you are in my territory, and it's safer to remove you from it. There are several twolegs out there, and even though I don't understand why anyone would want to live with those strange creatures, you'd be safer with them. Why don't you try finding new twolegs, StarClan knows they're always looking for new kittypets." Hence the reason they kept trying to steal wild ones.
No, Twilightstar wasn't going to bother telling him her name or anything like that, he wasn't going to be staying around long enough to learn it. "You can come with me and I'll lead you out of my territory and back into the outskirts." She could give him some advice to avoid running into hostile loners after she got him out of the moor.

The she-cat took a second to think, going over what she was going to say, but coming up with no good way to phrase it... how could one explain that one second she was on WindClan territory and the next she was in a random barn far away with a black cat hovering over her.
"I've been asking myself the same question for the what... Four? Five moons? I was in Clan territory one moment then the next I was waking up in a barn." Dappledfern couldn't bite back a sheepish smile. She expected the most from herself and, though her reason for being gone for so long was not completely her fault, she still felt torn. Her pride was bruised to say the least, what kind of cat forgot how they got so far away? "I spent quite some time trying to find my way back."
Twilightstar was extremely confused, she picked up the thick, nasty scent of Thunderpath on her. It was the only odor, besides twolegs, that Twilightstar hated more than the other clans' strange scents. Aside from that, Dapplefern seemed to be okay, unharmed. Which made her story even stranger. Somehow she managed to go from WindClan's territory to some barn moons away. But she had no explanation as to how that happened...
"You're not making any sense," Twilightstar responded drily if not a bit seriously. "You're telling me that you have no clue how went missing for moons. Just that you suddenly showed up in some barn." The powerful lash of the WindClan's leader's tail foretold that such an excuse wasn't going to fly with Twilightstar. It was ridiculous. Dappledfern was basically saying "I don't know what happened" and Twilightstar didn't like it.
"You can't remember anything at all that happened." She pushed, obviously not willing to leave this alone without a clear answer.

The slender leader removed herself from her rest place as soon as she spotted the tom walking back into camp. "Swiftheart," Twilightstar called padding up to him. "I haven't seen you around in camp in a while, where'd you disappeared to?"
Fallownose wanted to smack some sense into his Clanmates. It was just so frustrating that some of them decided not to show up or showed up late and didn't complete the punishment. What would he have to do to convince them that slacking off wasn't tolerated?! The deputy let out an annoyed sigh as he calmed himself down before calling out the next set of orders.
"Here's what's going to happen since giving second chances doesn't work anymore. I've tried to be lenient and let you all have the opportunity to prove yourselves repeatedly, but you don't take it. Vixenlight, you've shown up late and barely started. You're exiled for the next quarter moon. Don't come back unless you're no longer going to slack off and are ready to return to the duties of a warrior. Mistypaw, you have ten seconds to get over here and explain why you decided not to show up for your patrol and the punishment before you're following Vixenlight out."
Fallownose did not want to exile apprentices, but what else could be done if they put no effort into being a part of the Clan? If they weren't going to patrol, train, and accept the consequences of their actions, they might as well be leeches eating WindClan's prey and using precious herbs.
The tall gray tom sighed as his gaze fell on the last member present from the group that had been punished. At least this one had completed it and done so satisfactorily. "Cottonpaw, thank you for completing the punishment and accepting the consequences of your actions. You will now once again be known as Cottontuft, and you are free to go. Don't forget to put your prey on the pile."
Mistypaw walked up to Fallownose and dipped her head at the tom. “My bad, I’ve been very distracted lately trying to practice by myself I completely forgot about my punishment,” the she-cat frowned, knowing her excuse definitely wasn’t good enough and she’d be exiled. The shimmer in her eyes turned dull as she stared at Fallownose, unable to breathe. Mistypaw tried to be hopeful but wasn’t sure how at this moment.
Night'ray sat idle, his gaze adrift. He was quite sure this day couldn't get anymore dull.

It was a fresh day, the sun shining, clouds drifting, a soft breeze blew across the wild plains with heather. Cottontree bounded across the plains with a rabbit in his mouth. He caught this rabbit just now and was heading back to camp.
As he entered the camp, he plopped the rabbit into the prey pile, happily thinking that a hungry elder or a peckish cat would eat it. He looked around. All his clan mates were grooming or sharing tongues. He decided to join in.
As he padded through the groups, he spotted Nightray! Cottontree haven’t really bonded with Nightray before. It was only polite greetings during patrols. Cottontree headed over and plopped down next to Nightray. He craned his head towards Nightray. “Hullo Nightray!” he greeted him with a warm smile. “How has your day been so far?”

The tom then straightened himself up and perked his ears, building his confidence, "I promise it'd be worth having me around. It just startled me when I didn't hear you coming or smell you, I'm not this timid all the time! You see, my mother and father were loners, but when my house-folk took me from them, I tried to search for them, and that ended up as a dead-end... literally. Then when I came back to my house-folk, I didn't find them. They left, and the other house-folk- wait, did you say StarClan? I know of them! My mother told me stories of StarClan during the time I was with her!"
The tom now relaxed completely and sheathed his claws. This is a Clan cat!
"You're a Clan cat, aren't you?" Tux purred. "I gotta admit, I thought the Clans were just a myth..."

A sudden voice caught the brooding tom off guard, and he slowly drug his inflamed gaze towards the other cat. Who was this again? He recognized the face (hardly) but he was finding it rather difficult to remember his name. After a moment of deep thought, the other cats name slipped into his mind. It was Cotton'tree wasn't it? Eh- and if it wasn't who cared. Night'ray twitched his ear, not really wanting to acknowledge the question. But of course this fool would probably talk his ears off if he didn't respond. " Absolutely atrocious I'm afraid. " he muttered with a flick of his russet tipped tail. " I have a large blister on my paw, the sun is making me nauseous, and I had to check the elders for ticks," the tom growled thru clenched teeth. " There's more unfortunate circumstances, but I'd hate to dampen your day." Night'ray hissed the last part with bitter sarcasm, why must his clan mates intrude on his personal life?
(lol my guy is a big grump so don't take his moody interactions to heart XD)

|~| Marigold’Kit huffed as the medicine cat revealed that, no, it wasn’t possible to touch the sky. Well, that was a bummer. Dang it. Ancestors? Like..
“Like, the dead guys? The ones who got really old?? My dad is kinda old.. but don’t tell him I said that!!”
The ginger kit jumped up, a slight look of panic gleaming in his eyes. What if Stone’Fire heard that? StarClan, he shouldn’t be so paranoid. Taking a deep breath, Marigold’Kit sat again, blinking at Cow’Paw.
“So.. do you just sit in here and.. heal cats? Could you show me the plants you use? Is it just normal flowers or are they more.. wacky?”
Tilting his head, Marigold’Kit inquired the man in front of him, eyes squinting as he spoke. |~|

Oh, Leechpaw was a little surprised that he got her to roll with him. He supposed he should be, she was smaller than him so moving her wasn't all that hard nor controlling their momentum, still, he was kinda impressed with himself. However, he didn't have a lot of time to bask in his success considering his sister was battering extremely hard at his belly. He should have been trying to pin her hindlegs instead. Leechpaw's first instinct was to dig his claws into where he had her neck and head gripped, the pain might distract him from kicking him.
But this wasn't a real fight and he'd feel terrible if actually hurt her. Unable to withstand the strong kicks, he relaxed his hold and quickly leaped off, putting some distance between them so he could catch his breath. "Ow, I think you bruised my stomach," Leechpaw complained, taking a sit silently signaling that they should take a light break. He ducked his head to smooth out the messy belly fur. If Lionpaw had used her claws he might have been in some real trouble.

The midnight-tinged tom's tail started to flick impatiently, he was completely unsure how elders dealt with kits, or warriors, or apprentices, or heck, literally anyone with story-telling, he could vividly remember their faces lighting up, them getting comfortable, and getting far into the story for comfort, how could he ever be like that one day? He sub-consciously noted to himself that he would die a warrior, he'd never fall to the comfort of an elder, no matter the age or condition of his. This kit was exceptionally annoying.. however, brave, in his eyes, no doubt, the small kit even reminded him of a certain relation of his, and the thought of the young, energetic she-kit brought a pit to his stomach, and he struggled to look directly at Rabbitkit.
Nowadays, it wasn't like anyone would remember Speckledpaw's siblings, which was depressing to think of. With his whole family dead and his new 'family' not very educated on his past, his brother and sister were long forgotten kits, forever trapped in only his mind and heart. There was no way that this small kit had the slightest idea that he could even care about some cat, or even have a family, and that was true, but he liked to think that Leechpaw, Twilightstar, and all of them were truly part of him now, even if blood was not a part of their kinship. Perhaps Rabbitkit could be something to him, obviously only if the tom learned some manners, but only if that were the case, he didn't take cat...friendship often, this was a heavy thing to consider. While he had found this kit annoying, the sense of his beloved sister lingered in his mind, as if urging him on to find connections other than the ones he was forced to get into.
The first thing that the slender tom realized when he returned from his short daze was the tom's discomfort after he had chanted the new warrior name, as well as looking around uncertainly. For a short moment, he had mixed feelings about the kit running away from him at that moment, but in a way, he didn't mind. Yet, the tom-it stayed as he had before, which puzzled, maybe even surprised the apprentice before nodding to himself reassuringly that this kit did in fact exist, he totally wasn't crazy.
Trying desperately to make sure the kit didn't start wailing, he prepared himself to wrap his tail around the kitten or something of the sorts, give reassurance, but much to his great surprise, the kit persisted, much to his relief and his great distaste, and another feeling he couldn't place. This time, instead of trying to scare the kit or anything, he cracked a small, half smile and sat up straight, staring at the tom as he curled his tail around his paws and simply nodded, the fox was probably crow-food at this point, as it had been a while and obviously Monarch had done something to it, but if that would satisfy the younger cat so be it. This Rabbitkit was most definitely interesting, and he might have to consider bothering the kit himself from time to time.
