Pinepaw slunk in with his moss and Heather, and dropped it. He glanced behind him, to make sure Badgerpaw was still with him, and found a few empty nests. He replaced them with dry, soft moss and Heather, and at the same time, checking for thorns.

He found a bout one or two, but that was it, and every time a warrior left their nest, he would show up and change it.

Badgerpaw followed and gasped in awe at the size of the den, "Woah... I've never seen it from the inside before! This is cool!"

Looking at Pinepaw, he offered, "How do I do this?"

Pinepaw glanced at him. He knew the apprentice was knew- but still. Wouldn’t Badgerpaw at least know how to switch things. He sighed.
“Here- give me some moss and I’ll show you.” He meowed, and tried to swipe some from Badgerpaw’s jaws.

The tom let the moss go and cast an apologetic glance at the large apprentice, "Sorry, I've never done anything like this before. Being a kittypet was annoying, I couldn't do much but be lazy."

Pinepaw yawned. “Don’t apologize. You’re much better than most kitty pets. Skinnier, definitely. And faster.”
He changed a nest on the far left corner of the den, this one, ridding him off moss. He was left with a single stalk of Heather. He then took some of Badgerpaw’s moss, and used it as well in another nest. “ Most kitty pets wouldn’t have the brains to join a clan. Apparently you did, so you’re something eles, aren’t you Badgerpaw.”
He finished the nests, and turned to look at Badgerpaw.

"Heh, I guess so. But you should know, I wasn't born a kittypet," he informed, remembering when he told Twilightstar the same thing. "I was actually born a loner. You could probably guess what happened."

Pinepaw thought for a moment, less than a second, before guessing what had most likely happened to Badgerpaw. “They captured you, hm?” he asked, and glanced out the warriors den. @SpiritedWarrior

"Yep. I was a young kit, maybe 2 moons. My house-folk grabbed me when my mother was eating. I lived in their nest until a flood occurred and they left me behind. Luckily I was a good enough swimmer," he chuckled awkwardly and changed the subject slightly. "Do you ever swim? It's quite fun, so long as you aren't fighting for your life."

"RiverClan? There's more than one Clan?" he said confused. "I thought all cats knew how to swim..."

Badgerpaw closed his eyes in frustration with himself. If all cats knew how to swim, Pinepaw would know how to. I can't just assume everyone knows how to do what I know.

Pinepaw nodded. “Yes, there are four clans. WindClan, our clan, and the best clan! Of the swift and loyal. RiverClan, of the strong and clever. ShadowClan, of the wily and proud. ThunderClan of the fierce and brave. They all come to gather at the sea stones every full moon. All the leaders announce what’s going on in the clan.” Pinepaw summarized, and then turned his gaze to serious. “But never give away WindClan’s secrets at a gathering!” @SpiritedWarrior
