Hearing a voice next to her - one that was awfully loud - Laurelpaw let out a hiss and flattened her ears. Casting a sideways glance towards the tom, she raised a brow. "Can I help you with something?" she snapped, eyes narrowing in a frosty glare. Who was this?? She certainly didn't recognize them, so why were they trying to talk to her?

Badgerpaw shrunk back and glanced at the fellow apprentice. Guess not everyone here is that nice... he thought. Breathing out to relax, he sat up confidently and smiled at the black and white she-cat. I guess she could be nice, I probably just have to introduce myself.

"I'm Badgerpaw!" he introduced himself and flicked his ear and tail tip. "You obviously don't know me, but that's because I'm new to the Clan! Twilightstar let me join a couple of days ago."

//Blossomkit is actually his first interaction in the Clan, Pinepaw/tail is his second! Though I will have to agree, Badgerboi chose poorly on this one

Rabbiteye slunk out of the Medicine Cats den. His eyelids felt heavy with exhaustion, but he forced them to stay open. He looked around the clearing for the clan deputy. There he was. "Fallownose," he called out, his voice slightly horse. The dark tom walked over to him, preparing on what to say, and the Fallownose's reaction.

Fallownsose pricked his ears as Rabbiteye padded over to him. The warrior looked exhausted, which immediately caused the deputy to feel concerned. "Yes, Rabbiteye? Is everything alright?"

The dark gray deputy made his way to the Breezerock and sat near the front. He couldn't help but wonder if Twilightstar would bring up the issues with RiverClan and what happened at the last Gathering up to the Clan.

The ginger molly nervously padded towards the group at Twilightstar's call, hovering near the edge for a moment before she spotted Aspenstrike and moved to sit by her mate. Her belly was round with kits, and she pressed closer to the Abyssian as she looked around for Ivypaw. Hopefully, WindClan wouldn't be too hostile about their joining, especially with Aspenstrike's former status and reputation.

Fallownose frowned at this whole debacle that seemed to have happened. A twoleg had shaken Batsong and caused them not to report the patrol, but would a twoleg on the territory not be something noteworthy to report? "Batsong, what exactly happened with a twoleg that caused you to be shaken enough not to report it? And Doepaw, a warrior is not your responsibility to look out for, so don't blame yourself. You're free to go from the punishment."

As he waited for Batsong to explain what had happened, Fallownose turned to Laurelpaw with narrowed eyes. "Punishment isn't an option. You will complete it and then explain to Twilightstar why you smell like a ShadowClan cat." The deputy might not have been right next to her, but she stank as if she had rolled in their scent. Plus, he hadn't gotten the suffix -nose randomly. "Bring back two pieces of prey, then head directly to Twilightstar's den."

As the deputy glared at her, she returned the look right back. "I'm alright, thanks for asking! It's not like I almost got my fur torn off my back by a ShadowClan warrior. Not like you care though, Fall-face." The lack of concern from the deputy did nothing but rub her fur the wrong way as she felt hot tears burn her eyes. Was this what her mother had faced when she had been kicked out?

Without saying another word - and fighting off another wave of dizziness - Laurelpaw sprinted from the camp and into the territory. Stars, where was Eldersky? She would know what to do about this incessant pounding in her head that just would not go away.

After sprinting from camp, Laurelpaw put a good distance in between herself and the clearing until she stop atop a rolling hill. Her sides heaved with each intake of breath and a shake passed through her. Now that she had a moment to focus, it was clear that the black dots that had started small were larger and covering more of her vision. She gave another violent shake of her head, backing up a little bit. Whimpers came from her but were quickly cut off with a defiant hiss.

"Stupid patrol, stupid Fallownose, stupid Twilightstar. Why won't anyone tell me where my mom is??" Desperation laced her cry as she sank to the ground. At some point the angry tears had spilled over, wetting her cheeks as they rolled down like rain fall. Her chest felt tight as she burrowed her face into her paws, tail coming up to wrap tightly around her. Where was Eldersky? Where was her mom? And why did no one seem to care about finding her?

Fernpaw was busy with training, and Hickorypaw seemed to have a rather cool mentor. What did Laurelpaw get? Kicked into a tree by a ShadowClanner, a deputy who wanted her dead, and a mentor who couldn't be bothered to train her at all. Maybe WindClan wasn't the place for her after all. They probably wouldn't even miss her if she just left - Laurelpaw was almost certain Fallownose might even throw a celebration because that meant he only had to get rid of one other cat - her brother.

Sniffling, Laurelpaw uncovered her face and lifted her head as a wave of exhaustion hit her. Everything was blurry as she rose to shaky paws. She didn't even know how to hunt - no one had bothered to teach her. Scuffing the ground with one paw she padded forward stiffly, eyes focused on nothing particularly but the ground. She gave a lash of her tail, but it fell off and dragged on the ground. Everything was going wrong, and nothing right anymore. "Where are you, mom?" A choking plea as the young she-cat turned her sunken face towards the sky. Her eyes were wide, begging, as another batch of tears rolled fresh down her face.

Peachfrost arrived with a curious gaze.

She watched the tom ever curiously, which was a thing she did since she was a kit. She had to think on the offer for a bit. Marigold wasn't a bad herb, was it? She didn't really have much of a clue. But she trusted this medicine cat. What if her trust was misplaced? Well, then she'd have to deal with it. She settled back on her haunches as she replied to the tom. "Risk often gives reward. Test what you will, I doubt it will hurt me." Dappledfern looked down at him with a trusting look. She'd look forwards to get to know him better, maybe become friends. Who knew. She shuffled her back paws slightly, keeping her tail tucked in close.
