Webpaw padded into the strange camp and looked around. After her encounter with Dawnstar, she didn't trust anyone all that much. She walked around, looking for someone who could tell her more about the clans ways, and hopefully be nicer than Dawnstar.

This kit definitely had an attitude problem, and Shrewpaw really wanted to snap at the little thing now, but that wouldn't really accomplish much, probably just get him a couple whacks from the kid. Which wouldn't hurt dreadfully, but would still be annoying. And then the kid asked him to take him out of camp? He wasn't stupid, he couldn't even go out by himself, let alone with a kit! He didn't want to get shredded, murdered, exiled or ANYTHING at this point, he couldn't go asking for trouble! His mew firm, almost brittle, Shrewpaw responded with a clipped No. I am not taking you out of camp. I fancy keeping my fur a bit too much thanks. before fixing his gaze on the kit to see if he had any more questions. @SaltyTeardrops

Nodding rather stiffly as his request for battle training was granted, Shrewpaw remained near Yellowsnarl and the other apprentices slowly trickling over, his tail twitching in anticipation. He wondered if it would be sparring, special moves, maybe some situations they had to react to? He really wasn't sure, but he didn't think anything could really be a waste of time if it involved fighting, since that was the most important skill now for him, at least until he had passed his assessment and become a warrior. Then he might have to tune up his hunting a bit. @Russetstorm

The tabby cat was just kind of hanging outside the apprentice’s den. To be honest, he was quite sure what to do. His mentor was nowhere to be found — or at the very least, he didn’t exactly feel like looking for her. So, the one-eyes cat was just. Chilling. Until he spotted a lost looking cat. "Uh, hey. Whatcha... doin?" The poor cat just seemed lost and out of place. And he knew Dawnstar wouldn’t exactly be partial to a useless apprentice bumbling around like a new kit.

Aspenkit glared at him, then huffed.
"Fine, be weak, like the Shrew of witch you share Your pathetic name" He spat, angrily turning away. Aspenkit didn't know how he knew his name, though it seemed to happen a lot, him remembering things that he heard only once, and things like that. It was confusing in the very least. But besides who did this Apprentice think he is? If Punypaw wouldn't take him out, he'd just go on his own

"Well since no one else seems interested, I guess I will take you two out for some combat training. Frogpaw is a new apprentice though, so don't kill him Shewpaw." Said Yellowsnarl. @tigerspirit

This was highly aggravating, the fact that this stupid scrap was insulting HIM for being reasonable and not wanting to get clawed to bits. He normally liked kits, he really did, but this one was certainly on his nerves and it was going to be difficult to change the kid's mind if the first bit of their conversation was anything to go on. Still, taking a deep, calming breath, Shrewpaw set about trying to explain why they weren't going out, albeit in a somewhat manipulative way. It's not weak to not want to die. There are lots of dangerous things in the forest, and they would love to eat a plump little kit like you. Besides, you want to be an apprentice, don't you? If you get in trouble, like being outside of camp, Dawnstar won't let you become one with all the other kits your age, and you'll have to stay in the nursery longer than everyone else. He remembered that kit, that one that never left the nursery until he had just....disappeared one day. @Erebus

With a bit of a huff as he realized this might not be as interesting as he thought, seeing as it was going to be with a new apprentice and all, Shrewpaw gave Frogpaw a nod, smiling in an attempt to make them feel welcome. It was unnerving, going out for the first few times, especially if you had just heard you opponent warned to go easy on you. It was a bit like his fight with Shrikepaw. Almost exactly the same, seeing as the more skilled of the pair was the smaller one. He barely came up to Frogpaw's nose! Which would be aggravating if the younger cat actually knew how to use his weight. @Russetstorm @Tigerspirit2009

Oh, no wonder they looked like a lost fawn. This cat didn’t exactly have the dark look in their eye that nearly every cat seemed to sport lately. Huh. Well, he might as well play nice. "The name’s Buzzardpaw, and... what do ya wanna know? Like, raining stuff? Ranks... the Star Cats? I dunno." He spoke casually, just kinda throwing out a few topics that outsiders might not be familiar with. Though he kinda wished he hadn’t said the Star Cats. He didn’t exactly have a great relationship with them.

She paused for a moment, and remembered that Dawnstar told her that she was going to have to train. "Also, what's the apprentice training like?" She wanted to know what she would have to do. She wanted to prove that she was loyal, and she could improve more than Dawnstar thought she could.
