Tigerpelt step out of the Warrior's Den into the clearing. He felt the warm sun on his back which made him feel relaxed. As he looked around the clearing, he saw a kit looking nervous, standing in front of the nursery so he went over to her. "Hey, are you alright?" He asked, trying to sound as kind as possible.

Tigerpelt step out of the Warrior's Den into the clearing. He felt the warm sun on his back which made him feel relaxed. As he looked around the clearing, he saw a kit looking nervous, standing in front of the nursery so he went over to her. "Hey, are you alright?" He asked, trying to sound as kind as possible.
Spiderkit looked up and blinked her bright green eyes at the Ginger tom that approached her, resisting her first instinct to shout “stranger danger” and dash back inside the nursery. She was 2 moons old now for stars sake! She’d be an apprentice before she knew it, and so far she barely spent any time away from her mother or littermates. Her little throat felt dry, so she swallowed before answering. “T-There’s just…s-so many cats…” She squeaked, her gaze sweeping over the clearing as though making her point.

The tom chuckles softly before taking a seat. "Maybe go inside the nursery or is the other kits bothering you too much?" He laughs again, thinking about the overly hyper kits that reside in the clan. Tigerpelt looked over at the kit, his eyes softened. "You must be ready to be an apprentice, to be able to go out on patrols and stuff?" He tilted his head, figuring he knew the answer to his own question.

Spiderkit’s eyes widened. Oh no! Had she gotten the other kits in trouble? She shook her head vigorously. “Oh no! Nothing like that!” She mewed quickly. “They’re fine, really! I just…” She bowed her head, turning her gaze to her black paws. “I want…to be b-braver.” Did that even make sense? She wasn’t sure.
She looked back up at Tigerpelt when he mentioned being an apprentice, and her gaze brightened. She nodded, bright green eyes sparkling. “Oh yes! I can’t wait!” She purred, her gaze sweeping the clearing, now with warm. “I want to be able to help my clan. Like Mama, Papa, and Big Brother Antpaw.” She purred, her eyes growing sad for a moment as she remembered her littermates who’d never get the chance. They had died shortly after being born. And Spiderkit felt like she owed it to them to be the best warrior she could be.

Tigerpelt grinned as he saw Spiderkit's excited eyes. "You don't need to be brave little one, it is okay to be scared, or upset at things," the warrior says. He paused a moment then says, "I bet you will be a very amazing apprentice, even a great warrior someday. I'm glad a kit like you is so eager to help the clan. Most kits don't even think about their apprenticeship until their ceremony arrives," he purrs. He was proud of Spiderkit for being this encourage to be a great warrior one day.
