Heatherleaf was over joyed. It had finally happened! The time when she’d loved someone, and
they loved her back. It was a moment she would never forget. Heatherleaf felt Roseskip lean on
her and Heatherleaf smile could light and warm the hearts of ShadowClan! She leaned back and
just savoured the moment.
A purr rose on the back of RoseSkips throat as the molly of her dreams lean back. They hoped to
starclan that this wasn't some torturous dream and when they woke they'd be dismissed as a friend
but this felt real! RoseSkip twitched the tip of their tail to free the thought. It was nice finally being
able to be this close to HeatherLeaf and not worry she was pushing something.
Lol, im glad im still trying to keep roseskip the same and i think so aswell (:

Beetleblaze's could finally feel the lids of his eyes lowering, offering sleep. He let his long body relax as his legs stretched out in front of him, his coarse tan fur sinking into a mossy nest that lay near the Warriors Den entrance. As soon as his body pressed to the cool surface he heard his deputies voice echo beyond the clearing and through the hollow where he now lay. "urrgh.." He grunted reflexively in a low sign of displeasure. I should have known... He longed to stay draped in cool mossy comfort, but he knew it was his own decisions that made him regret this moment of duty.
Last night had been a long one. Beetleblaze had been granted an apprentice Cloverpaw, and initially he was elated as any warrior should be. It was his first apprentice after all, so the young warrior was determined not to muck it up. After the ceremony though it occurred to the independent tom that this might mean an end to his individual night time hunts. He had felt the itch in his paws to explore the moorland under the stars right away, since it could be his last. However a group of warriors had been teasing his denmate Bunnyhop about her half-clan heritage, so the tom felt compelled to chase after her to offer consoling words.
They had talked deep into the night before the warrior took stock of the hour, yet Beetleblaze still wanted to engage in his typical activities at least one more time. After studying several rabbit burrows and a colony of ants he had returned to camp just before morning hoping to get some sleep. Too many emotions seemed to have seeded themselves into his fur and he had found it difficult to sleep. Just when he thought his mind and body had relented now Fallownose was organizing patrols. Strike number two mousebrain, Beetleblaze chastised himself. With reticence he remembered that last time he had night hunted. He missed a patrol, causing him to be demoted for a quarter moon.
The lethargic tom knew he couldn't allow that to happen again or he might suffer some more serious consequences. With effort he pushed himself to his paws unsteadily and padded into the clearing giving a nod to his deputy. "I'll go fetch Cloverpaw and we will head out." Beetleblaze tried his best to hide his raspy voice which had grown more extreme with the weight of fatigue. I hope I don't seem unprofessional. He wondered for a moment if the deputy might chide him, but flicked the thought away. He turned his emerald gaze towards the apprentices den and tried to keep his puffy tail from dragging through the dirt.
Cloverpaw is probably excited, for StarClans sake don't ruin it for him. Before entering the warrior made sure to give his fur some careful licks hoping to make a halfway decent first impression. "Cloverpaw? You up for some hunting?" His raspy voice bit into the dim tunnel bouncing back in a faded reply.
Leafpaw
She/Her
A long-haired fawn tabby with a white underbelly; Blue eyes
~ Leafpaw stuck her head out of the apprentice den with a tilted head before hearing that she would be helping Coyotecrash with getting marigold. The Molly's eyes widened with excitement as she bounded over to the tom almost bouncing in place.
"I'm ready!! I'm ready!! Come on!!"
Was all that Leafpaw said before she ran for the entrance of the camp.~
Sunpaw
She/Her
A Long Furred Light Golden She-Cat With Classic Tabby Stripes, White Paws, Underbelly And Tip Of Tail; Cold Blue Eyes
~ Sunpaw let out a yawn as she lifted up her head with a flick of her tail. The golden she-cat stood up and stretched before making her way over to the forming patrols and sat down waiting for.. who was it again? Rabbiteye? to approach her. Sunpaw made a mental note of having to tell her patrolmate she would need a quick lesson on how to hunt for this to go smoothly. ~
At Squirrelear's question, Lightningkit threw her uncle a flat expression, clearly insulted the dark tom would even think she would fall for something like that. That did, however, give her an idea. She knew the nursery best of all as far as she was aware, not being picked to play with very often by her littermates, mostly because Sorrelkit didn't like playing with she-kits while Raykit just didn't like playing with anybody. This gave her time to explore every nook and cranny of the place, especially considering Gingerheart did not let her go out of the nursery yet... although seeing as how her brothers were nowhere to be found at a glance, she assumed the same could not be said about them. Lifting herself on her two hind legs for a better look, she squeaked as she tumbled down, landing on her tail and with nothing to add to her findings.
A scowl appeared on her face as she realized her plan would not be put into motion because of this, and partly wondered if Gingerheart had left with Sorrelkit and Raykit while she was sleeping. The calico shook herself as her fur went on end at the thought. Hawknight already seemed to favor the other two, but she refused to believe that their precious mother would stoop as low as her mate and not love them all equally. She had proved to be much more caring than him. Deciding to use what she did have at paw, however, she turned back to her uncle, the cheekiness back in her grin.
"Well... if you want sneaky, you gotta have Raykit. He likes avoiding everyone so much he's actually gotten really good at sneaking around. For brave, you got Sorrelkit. He likes to dive head in to everything. Hmmm... I'm not sure if he's brave or mouse-brained, but either works," she mewed with a shrug, a little purr of amusement escaping her. "Obviously I'm the brains. Not the mouse-brains... the cat-brains," she explained, slowing her lightning fast tongue to explain this part, careful not to confuse her uncle. He was obviously smart and not easily confused, but adults sometimes seemed to have trouble keeping up with her for some reason. "Since I am the cat-brains, then you have to be the sneaky brave one," Lightningkit finished in her high pitched voice, a smug little smirk adorning her face as she presented her flawless plan. The one that would keep her out of danger's way and still get them the feathers, that is.

The white apprentice had been organizing his new nest making sure it
was just perfect, He hoped he wouldn't have to much trouble with his new
den-mates which he doubted. He heard the deputy start calling out
patrols and felt a faint hope. Clover'Paw then trotted to the entrance
of the apprentices den and listened and heard his name get called faintly
a new energy surged through him.
Clover'Paw looked at his nest thinking it was fine for the moment, then
heard his mentor call out for him "Of course!" He mewed with his tail
held high above his head. "I'm good to go"
“Alright then, have fun!” Spiderfire chuckled, waving his tail in goodbye.
Breeze'Song had been sleeping in her nest, across from Spider'Fire, when she awoke. " Urggg... Huh? Who are you talking to Spider'Fire? " she said, her voice cracking slightly. Breeze'Song was one of the oldest she-cats in the elder's den. But sometimes she felt as young as a warrior. Though it certainly didn't show.

The ginger queen had gone on a walk to Juniper's Rest and back (just as Cowpaw had said), and in all honesty she was feeling much more calm. As she was about to pad into the nursery, when she heard two voices drift out to her. Two familiar voices. It was Lightningkit and Gingerhearts own brother, Squirrelear. They were talking about the haunted nest in the nursery, and a wicked grin formed on her face.
She crept in silently behind them, trying not to laugh. "Yes, yes! Get closer and closer to the nest so I.. Can... Whisk you away!" She cackled menacingly before picking little Lightning up by her scruff, gently tossing her onto her own ginger back.

Beetleblaze
24 Moons
As the giddy looking sleek apprentice trotted over to him, Beetleblaze was filled by a fresh burst of energy within him. The excitement in his apprentice was stirring him up too. It wasn't enough to erase his heavy desire for sleep, but it did lighten the load at least a little bit. The warrior craned his neck so that he could look down at his white furred protege, who was considerably shorter than him. "Good." He acknowledged giving a wry smile. "Follow me closely." He instructed hoping the eager tom would comply, since he didn't know if he had enough energy to properly keep an eye on him. Beetleblaze turned without waiting for a reply vanishing through the heather and gorse.

Crowfoot exited out of the warriors den once they heard their name, nodding at Follownose, ears swiveling to see if he could hear the apprentice, though called out at as well, his massive pure black body stood out amongst his fellow clanmates, "Come along Milkpaw."

The apprentice nodded, it wasn't like he got excited for nothing just to sit
in the apprentices den and sort the moss, feathers, and dried mud and
form a comfortable nest. As he watched his mentor disappear from
view the young tom followed at a reasonable pace and he too vanished
out of plain sight and after his mentor.
Alright
