The little orange kit ran around the den with endless energy. "I can't wait to be a full-grown warrior and kill all of those dumb Thunderrats" he yelped with excitement.

Sleepykit felt rather dejected after the meeting. Watching as her mama seemingly ignored her inquiries and even her grandmama fused over that kit who'd been hiding behind her mama made her feel... She couldn't put a paw on it, but as a result, the sleepy-looking kitten dragged herself to her nest in which she lay down, all alone. Meanwhile, Nightshiver, having zoned out during the meeting due to other worries, felt rather concerned for the RiverClan kitten... And a little bad that poor Mothkit had been on the receiving end of Dawnstar's not-so-kindly given orders - the forever queen should've paid better heed to what was happening so the little one wouldn't have had to face that. Not only that, but even Sleepykit looked upset after the meeting, much to the queen's concern as she re-entered the dimly lit den.

Palepaw made her way into the nursery, a smile covering her maw. She wanted to give the youngsters of the clan some entertainment, because she still remembered her own time as a kit and how horribly boring it had been. Her bright blue eyes landed on a random kit and she bounded over, remembering the kits name as.. Ravenkit. Yeah, that was right. "Hi, I'm Palepaw," she mewed with a small tilt of her head. "How are ya doing? Do you wanna hear a story? I know how boring life as a kit can be."

Mirekit

It was LOUD. The screaming that came from one side of the den had Mirekit lifting her head and looking around for it. That was her... brother? Smokekit. Something felt familiar when she looked at him, recognizing that he was the source of the screaming. Then before she could do much of anything, dad was up beside him. What had happened? Did that mean if they screamed they got attention?

...Well, Mirekit didn't want attention. Instead she wiggled her way over to her sister and buried herself in her littermates fur with a small squeak. Once she was effectively pressed as close to Howlingkit as possible, only then did she finally relax and curl herself into a small ball. Jaws parted in a massive yawn and eventually she nodded off, asleep against her sister.

Magpiekit gave a big yawn as they woke, stretching out their legs with their milk-round belly up in the air. They blinked open their kitten-blue eyes, rolling from their back to stand up on wobbly legs - they'd had enough of milk and sleep and squishing between siblings! It was time to explore.

...At least, that had been the plan. Magpiekit made it almost as far as the nursery entrance before a cold gust of wind blew towards them, sending them scrambling straight back towards the warmth of the kit-pile their littermates made. Exploring would have to wait for a day that was less cold...

Howlingkit

“i’ve cleaned enough houses to know how to cover up a scene”

Father now focusing on the other children left Howlingkit alone. To ruin it all. To destroy the fragile life the medicine cat and enforcer created that Howlingkit called her brother. Whatever had him crying like that was probably pointless. The shekit lets out a quiet mewing sound as she stares blankly, blue eyes holding a prepared hatred for the world. Howlingkit shifts, holding herself up on the ground for a short bit till she once more becomes a worm like furball.

The screaming of her brother faded into the background, attention now fully onto Mirekit. The older shekit sat in silence as her sister buried herself into her fur. For the first time in her (short) life, Howlingkit felt loved by someone. Then the squeak, Howlingkit’s ears jump to attention (or at least how much they could considering she was half a moon old). Eyes wide as her sister fell asleep. Defensive look towards the younger sibling. Something that would explained in time. For now, Howlingkit wraps her tiny tail around what she could and falls asleep next to her sister as well.
