Midgepaw shook their fur and followed Dewpaw in, their light build allowing for them to easily and quietly slip in. And using its fur for bedding? Midgepaw wrinkled their nose at the idea. They wondered who had ever thought of using it as bedding, and if they were either really smart or really mouse-brained. They opened their mouth to respond when there was a murmur and Midgepaw took a step back, half hiding behind Dewpaw, half next to Dewpaw. They gazed uncertainly at the warrior, the tip of their tail flicking nervously. They waited out Dewpaw and the warrior's short conversation, and were considering backing out of the den when the she-cat caught sight of them. They examined the white and orange molly for a moment, then slowly nodded, not really sure what to do. Usually older cats simply ignored them, so this felt kind of awkward and a little bit strange to Midgepaw. They thought that, like all Clan names, Willowdawn was equal parts pretty and strange, some were more strange than others, but not all of them were so odd. They blinked, backing up a pawstep.

Seeing that Dewpaw obviously wasn't about to introduce herself, the molly did it for her. She carefully nudged Midgepaw, attempting to convince them that this warrior was fine and the situation was docile. The small she-cat smiled, placing her tail-tip on Midgepaw's flank to indicate who she was talking about as Willowdawn glanced at her expectantly.
"This is Midgepaw," explained Dewpaw, her voice cheery as she looked from the older warrior to the fellow apprentice and back. "Yep, she's new. She's gonna train with me!" Boasted the she-cat, purring.
Willowdawn all but nodded at Dewpaw's rambling, seeing her sister's influence evident on the young cat. Her warm green gaze returned to the other apprentice, more relaxed now that she knew she was safe and who she was. "Ah, so this is the new apprentice!" Exclaimed Willowdawn. "It's nice to meet you. Do you have a mentor yet?" She inquired, curiously flicking her tail-tip.
Dewpaw opened her mouth to respond on instinct, but soon realized that this was a question even she didn't have the answer to. She shrugged slightly and looked towards Midgepaw, hoping she wasn't intimidated by the warrior. Does she have a mentor...?

Jackalheart, yawning, slowly stood up, the sun shining in her eyes. She at least had time to groom her fur, so she did so. She then stretched her legs and padded out to catch some air.

"Hi Jackalheart!" Caracalpaw mewed, racing over. "W-what're you d-doing?" She panted, a crooked grin on her face as her eyes glittered.

"I was planning to catch some fresh air," Jackalheart mewed. She then stared at the she-cat, blinking. "Would you like to come with me?" Jackalheart offered with a smile.
