Fiercefire carried in his son, who was bleeding from his head and jaw. He was afraid Lynxpaw would die. "Bounceberry! Lynxpaw needs help, now!" He called into the den.

Bounceberry murmured as he heard someone shout his way. He hadn't been in a fantastic mood for whatever reason, and begrudgingly rose from his spot on the floor to go assess the damage.

He cleared his throat, remiss at the blood dirtying everything, "T-Tell me what happened." he said, moving to grab a clump of moss.

The young golden apprentice limped through the entrance to the medicine cat den. She'd focused all of her reserved energy to keeping herself poised in the face of Owlfeather as she reasoned her way back into the clan. The past days' lack of food and water was now wearing on her and making her legs shaky and unstable. She stopped in the entrance to allow her eyes to adjust and her muscles to acclimate to holding her weight again. She felt her breath coming in deep, heavy pants, her nose flaring and her visible ribs stretching her unkempt coat. She attempted to raise her head proudly as she'd just maintained, with effort, to face Owlfeather but now she found the action more taxing than her original battle training with Elmshadow. "Bounceberry..." Sunsetpaw was shocked by the weak, breathy quality to her voice and how much breath that one word seemed to steal from her.

Bounceberry flicked his tail, wetting the moss and approaching the pair. He leaned down to Lynxpaw and murmured, looking at the injury. He placed the moss on the apprentice's head before moving to grab some cobwebs.

"I've not a clue how a cat could apply so much force on their own as to indent one's skull...but i trust your judgement,"

Bounceberry was laying on his side, tail sweeping small pine needles on the ground. His eyes focused on the oddly perturbed apprentice, leaving him to clear his throat, "S-Sunsetpaw. You seem awfully worse for wear this evening. What has happened?" he asked, though he didn't seem to bother to rise up, not until he was actually told about what needed to be done, he was enjoying his sunbathing far too much.

Catching her breath, Sunsetpaw let her back legs fold in on themselves and she lowered herself to sit. Bounceberry didn't move toward her but she'd at least gotten his attention. She dipped her head slightly. The medicine cat's response gave her at least a moment to regain some of her composure. "I...I got stuck. I went looking for my mentor and slipped into a hole. I tried to get out," She lifted a paw and looked at her own pads, raw and sore, noticing for the first time that one of the claws on that paw was gone. She sighed at the loss, and the inconvenience at having to wait for it to regrow, but moved on quickly, "Nothing I did worked and I was stuck in there for...I don't know how many days. Eating the roots kept my belly full, in the beginning, but not much else."

"Lynxpaw is small and young, and hitting his head on rock ground with the force of a warrior made a small indent. I think it was the side that hit the ground, maybe there was a rock..." Fiercefire mewed panicked.

The tom backed away, looking slightly disgruntled. He wasn't one to turn a suffering one away, of course, but aside from a lack of food and water, Sunsetpaw seemed to be all in one piece.

Brackenfire was making quite the mess, leaving a blood trail around of camp. She had been steadily losing blood from that gash in her stomach since the wound was opened, and it was a concern. Slightly. She was also feeling pretty lightheaded, but that also could've been from being beaten in the head by that moronic tomcat. Padding tediously into the medicine den, she was pawsteps behind the other warrior. She looked at Mistypetal with an annoyed grimace. Stupid Mistypetal.

"Bounceberry?" The tabby braced herself against the den wall, blinking slowly. Her eyes fell to the blood puddle she was making, and she closed her eyes, leaning her head against the wall, steadying her breathing. She killed someone. She jumped into a river to save this useless lump. As Mistypetal collapsed on the ground, she rolled her eyes. Gah. "We had some trouble with some rogues."
