Crowfoot ears flicked as they lead Firepaw out of the WindClan camp. Looking for any of the flowers that Cowpaw had mentioned. Their black fur fluffed up to keep the cold away from him put in it made him look bigger than usual, they turned their head toward Firepaw, "Do you see any yet?"

RAHHHH (velli)
Arrow, a strange name, but no stranger than some of the names she's heard elsewhere. How unfortunate to hear that he lost his mother, still, he was lucky that Ashclaw found him when he did. The leader's single eye slid over to the warrior as he spoke to the kit. If only Ashclaw was as attentive with his paw as he was with kits. "I'm very sorry to hear that, Arrow, I'm sure your mother was a brave soul." She said softly and then shifted the topic. "If you'd like, you can stay here in my clan. Otherwise, my warriors will have to drop you off at a twoleg place to see if a kittypet or twoleg will take in."
[If he's staying he'll need a clan name, Arrow is not a prefix that Twi will accept].
Escape crickets? The WindClan's leader's head slighted itself in curiosity trying to make sense of what was being told of her. Did she mean that she was literally being attacked by crickets(which was unheard of to her), or that the chirping noses that the insects made were annoying? Either or it might be a good idea to go and speak with the queens, whether there were crickets getting in the den or a nest of crickets nearby, no needed their sleep disturbed by loud critters.
Twilightstar plops her chin down on the kit's forehead briefly once she's cuddled in and cozy. She angled her single full ear towards the entrance of the den as Nettlekit glanced in the direction of the opening. She could hear the chirping, but the noise seemed rather faint to her. A big yawn escapes the little one's maw, returning the leader's attention to her with a bemused chuckle leaving her mouth. "You're welcome," Twilightstar told her in return, curling her tail a little tighter around the small body.
"Hmm, having a den to yourself isn't as fun as you imagine. It can be nice at first, especially in warmer seasons, but it gets lonely especially when you have to sleep every day by yourself. Plus, I get cold easily, when I had denmates there was always someone laying beside me close enough could share warmth with." Twilightstar purred softly, ducking her head to give the kit's forehead a few affectionate licks. "But enough about that, you should get to sleep, you'll wake up in a bad mood if you don't get enough rest."
Arrow nods. "I would love to stay! Could I be called Night?" he asks.
he smiled fondly. "I was speaking of the rain, but I suppose you are right about that. I was never fond of snow ironically" snowtuft chuckled, smiling at the smaller tabby. "how've you been doing though? I haven't been as active in the clan as I had hoped and haven't seen you around much" he smiled.
"actually why don't we do something tomorrow? made the most out of leaf-fall before it ends" he nudged them softly, tilting their head. "it'll be nice, just like when we were apprentices!" he purred.
"alright" they purred, nodding. "but to answer your question I'm doing fine, no need to rush yourself to speak" ColdMeadow replied teasingly.
"but a walk around the borders together would be nice, just don't scare away every piece of prey in the forest" she teased, poking fun at him softly. "anyways, how've you been doing yourself? im glad to see you healthy" they smiled.
Whiskers and ears twitched rapidly, eyes though closed swiveling wildly as small, nervous spasms flowed through the small body that lay curled inside her family's nest. Well... her and her mother's. Her littermates were long gone now, visiting only in her dreams. Dreams that were filled with grotesquely wounded cats. Featherfoot, Raykit, and Sorrelkit leading them towards her. The wounds reeked of illness and death, oozing terribly - each nightmare seemingly trying to outdo the last on just how horrendous it could make its victims look, on how much more it could use this as a means to further torture and traumatize its young hostess - as the cats padded forward, stumbling with effort as their bodies could barely handle the pain, their eyes blank and unseeing as they crawled to her, moans of anguish filling the fetid air around her.
Why? Why did you forget? You said you would get him... and now I am dead, all because of you.
Featherfoot's voice echoed in her head, the sound warped and monstrous, suffering dripping from her every word. Her siblings spoke as well, or at least they tried to. Lightningkit's eyes opened in a flash as Sorrelkit began to speak, cutting his words short and replacing them with her own scream, a yowl of terror as she attacked the air, trying to get the invisible, broken StarClan cats away from her. Her fight leaving her as soon as she realized it had all been a dream, she stopped, panting heavily as she lay on her side, regaining her breath. Blue eyes glazed over as the young calico felt tears welling up in them, forcing her to shut them close, a grimace on her face as she brought her forepaws to cover herself, shame racking her body as she fought to contain the sobs escaping her.
"N-no more... Please... No more. I'm s-sorry. I'm sorry. I'm so sorry. I don't want anymore. No more. Please, leave me alone," the little kit mewed feebly, the happy, high pitch that was usually evident in her voice substituted by a weary, broken whine. Noticing she was alone in the nest - the area surrounding her missing her mother's warmth - Lightningkit curled herself tighter, keeping her face covered as she continued her pleading mutterings, rocking her body in an attempt to calm herself, too afraid to go back to sleep, lest the monsters return to punish her for her crime.

His smile twitched upwards. So it was normal for Clancats to scuttle about by themselves. He'd tuck that information away for later. They were just on the defensive right now but he would keep that bit of information to himself for now until he deemed it needed by the others. He assumed if he told his idiots...they'd act upon it right away.
"I still think it's pretty cool... I mean I'm out here by myself and it's making me nervous." he laughed. "But! I stumbled into you, so I'm feeling better already." he hummed. "By that logic, I vote we go look at the tunnels, I think it'll be fun anyways." once that rolled off his tongue the peach feline stepped to the side and dipped his head. Signaling for Cedarbug to show the way.
He was...well he wasn't nervous, he was a big man he couldn't be nervous. But the other's actions were off putting. He had no idea why the Warrior wouldn't look at his face. He'd never had anyone act that way towards him, he didn't have much experience but he had experience with mad cats, angry cats, and cats who lie. This was a new one and he wasn't a fan. The thought of going into the tunnels by himself with this stranger made his skin crawl. If he were to die anywhere...it would be in those tunnels.
Or...he was overthinking. Maybe he was, he said he never got to fight, so perhaps he had no experience. William himself had very little but it was better than nothing. "Hmm, what are you thinking of learning about? Since you're showing me the tunnels? I can walk and teach." he said, shooting the other a smile.

“Alright, do you see anything else?” BriarMoon asks. She was happy that someone was there to guide her to what she had missed. “Is there anywhere in camp it looks as if I’ve forgotten?”
"Hmm..." She looked around thoughtfully. This was a big job. She had to make sure that they were all done. "I think we're all done!" She exclaimed. The Cleaning Cats! They could be besties now, for sure! Now they had to celebrate!

“Thank you for being such a great helper, IrisKit! I’ll make sure to let TwilightStar know how amazing you are!” BriarMoon have a real smile for once… anyone who knew her knew she was usually miserable. a young cat offering help not because BriarMoon was struggling but because they just wanted to help, made her happy…
“Feel free to join my cleaning crew anytime,” she purrs.
With an excited scream at Fallownose's response, and Stinkyskies being told to go away, Basilkit went to town batting at his daddys paws. "DADDY CAN WE GO WITH YOU OUT CAMP??" Basilkit screeched, his fur puffed up all which way. He whipped around, stanced up, and reared up onto his hind legs to pounce on Nettlekit and Ruekit. He was oh so scary. Heck yeah.
He was here this time. Twilightstar momentarily focused all her attention on Gorsekit, who didn't look nearly as excited as Sunkit about becoming an apprentice. When he finally lifted his face and caught her eye, she grew a little puzzled. He didn't seem fearful, embarrassed, or shy, more worried than anything else. It was concerning when kits had worries, there wasn't much for them to worry about. She could take a solid guess at what plagued the kit's mind, but there was little time to address it during the meeting.
"Gorsekit," The leader began reciting the ceremonial words, "you've reached the age of six moons and it's time or you to be apprenticed. From this day on, until you receive your warrior name, you will be known as Gorsepaw [ @vellichor ]." Twilightstar's eye shifted to Sunkit with a gentle smile on her maw.
"Sunkit, since WindClan already has an apprentice by the name of Sunpaw you'll have to be given a new name. So, until you've received your warrior name you'll be known as Lightpaw [ @Silverfur & Co ]." Twilightstar gave the clan a moment to call out the apprentices' new names while she glanced around for fitting mentors.
"Tumblebreath [ @epicstinkyman ], you'll be training Lightpaw. I'll trust you'll teach her everything you know."
"Wolffang [ @TheNyanCatMinecart ], you're in charge of Gorsepaw's training. I expect you to pass on all you know to him."
She hoped Brightpaw's all that put off about the name change, most cats accepted name changes, and rarely do any prove difficult with it. The new paw appeared rather sweet, so she was hoping there was no fuss made.
"Leafpaw [ @candy hearts. ], Milkpaw [ @Wingnettle ], Cobwebpaw [ @Naiad ], Mistpaw [ @fawnbloom83 ], Driftpaw [ @~Eclipse_Lake~ ], Doepaw [ @maple. ], and Irispaw [ @Alaska ]. You are all in need of new mentors. I sincerely hope that these new ones I'm assigning you are far more dedicated to ensuring you grow into outstanding warriors of WindClan. I trust that you'll all be taking your training seriously as well. I suppose that it doesn't heart to mention that if you don't believe your mentor is a fit for you or if you aren't getting properly trained that you may request a reassignment." The stern frown on Twilightstar's face as she spoke told the clan of her discontent and disappointment with having so many apprentices to reassign.
"Milkpaw, your new mentor is Crowfoot [ @oleander ]."
"Cobwebpaw, Coldsong [ @tanuki ] will be serving as your mentor."
"Cloudyrain[ @Gay'Fluff ], will be mentoring Doepaw."
"Sharpbreeze[ @Jinx. ], your apprentice is Irispaw."
"Mistpaw, Leafriver [ @Rapid ] will be taking care of your training"
"Leafpaw, Swiftheart [ @Rabbiteye ], is your new mentor."
"Driftpaw, your mentor is Splitmeadow [ @~Half-A-Witch~ ]."
Twilightstar left all the new mentors and reassigned apprentices to meet and greet each other while her eye sought out one of WindClan's few larger cats.
"Snowypaw [ @Alchemist Kitsune ]," She called and beckoned the paw forwards with a few swishes of her tail once the apprentices and mentors took their seats once again.
"It's time for your warrior ceremony." The dreary disappointment in her gaze was replaced with glowing pride as WindClan added a new warrior to their ranks. She only wished that Deadmoon was around to see it.
"Snowypaw, do you promise to serve and protect WindClan, even at the cost of your life?"
