The moss got into her nostrils and eyes, which only made her angrier and more competitve. She knew it wasn't her opponent's fault and respected that they'd been able to hit her so well. She rushed after Tawnikit, scooping moss forwards as she did.

Tawnykit stuck her tongue out at Eaglekit, before soon getting moss in her mouth, causing her to hack it up. She then started giggling looking at Eaglekit, her very messy, moss covered fur making her look like she haven’t groomed herself in awhile. “This is fun!” She grabbed some moss with her tail, throwing it at the other kit once again.

Eaglekit didn't bother replying, in order to avoid experiencing what Tawnykit had just experienced. She pulled back quickly to dodge the moss and tackled Tawnykit into the mossy mess.

“Fighting is not fun!” Passionkit sniffled her eyes closed and her head turned away form Tigerkit. After a moment though she assumed he was going to keep asking so she said, “Fine! Why don’t you show me what you know and I’ll judge you. Fair?”.

Eaglekit laughed back and shoveled some moss onto Tawnykit's chest. She was really enjoying playing in the moss and thankfully there was no annoying queen to tell them off.

Tawnykit continued to have fun, before playfully kicking Eaglekit off, standing up and purring loudly. “Hah! I’m glad no queen isn’t here to scorn us!”

Kestrelflame stretched as she walked out of the warriors’ den. The weather had warmed up a bit, leaving a chilly but tolerable cold air that lingered. Considering it was only early leaf-bare the young warrior knew it would get colder, even if this was her second leaf-bare. So, she figured it would be best to hunt for a bit. The calico briefly considered doing some battle training on her own, it would be nice to hone her skills. However, she soon pushed the thought aside, being able to eat seemed like a better plan. After catching a bit of prey, she could work on her other skills. Besides, she needed to work on more effective hunting methods.

Raising her tail towards the clouds Kestrelflame trotted towards the camp exit. She wasn’t much in the mood to hunt out any cats to go with her. That seemed more like a waste of time then something that would be effective. Most cats liked to flap their gums a bit too much when invited to hunt, like the they thought she was personally wanting to spend time with them. She liked to pick cats to be forced to hunt with by skill or looks not personal feelings. Kestrelflame really didn’t know enough cats to pick any other way. Not because she was a bad cat, stars no! It was because she just didn’t try to make them, but mostly because she had been focused on training as an apprentice, both secretly and with her former mentor. Now days she stuck to herself most of the time it seemed.
This was going down a rabbit hole! The calico shook her head to clear her head. This wasn’t about her or other cats, she was going hunting not socializing. New ideas… She hummed silently. Setting up traps for prey isn’t really new but I am sure that would work with food being more scare than other seasons. Kestrelflame added to herself

Linnetwing padded out of the nursery right after Shiverkit. They wanted to play, but at Their age she had to sit and watch him. Who knows maybe this was a good opportunity to talk with her clamates thus watching her adopted kit. The queen sat down and tucked her paws underneath her as she made herself comfortable.

Eaglekit shook off the excessive amounts of moss from her pelt. She had really enjoyed the moss fight- it was one of her better ideas.
"Yeah, usually some grumpy queen gets in the way of fun!!"
