Silvermask leaned forward to the she-cat, nuzzling Lightbreeze. “I love you..” he murmured.
“I love you too!” She said and smiled. She had always secretly wanted to have kits though it was probably not good a cat who got into fights and have anger issues to have kits so she always never mentions it.
Twilightstar padded into the camp with two limb sparrows hanging in her mouth. She was going to make her way over to the fresh-kill pile, but spotted the gray tom she needed to report to. Setting the birds down, the clan leader padded over to the deputy with a light bow of her head in greeting. "Fallownose, the hunting patrol at Windy Hills went well enough, Laurelbriar and I made decent catches. Unfortunately though Moonpaw didn't have any hunting training, and although I offered to teach her she disappeared halfway through the lesson. I'm uncertain whether she returned to camp or what, but I'm assuming she did." Twilightstar had conflicting feelings regarding Moonpaw's behavior and lack of training. She should be upset with Leaffall for not training her, but at the same time, the paw had disappeared while the leader was trying to teach her so the fault partially lies with the apprentice. She supposed in the end, the deputy could decide on Moonpaw's punishment if she got one.
@NinjaBloss @Oasis
Fallownose had to resist the sigh of relief that wanted to come out and instead gave a smile when Twilightstar showed up to give her report. She was the first, and while on time, it was still close to when patrols are due. He honestly didn't know what he would have done if Twilightstar had been late. He couldn't exactly demote her to apprentice, but he firmly believed that High Ranks should be held to the same standard, if not greater, than the rest of the Clan.
"Thank you, Twilightstar. I'll track Moonpaw down and talk to her about that."

Peachfrost led the patrol back to windclan territory in comfortable silence. "Nothing to report with the Riverclan border, everything's quiet." She meowed.
Peachfrost was quick to report after Twilightstar and Fallownose inclined his head. "Thanks, Peachfrost. I knew I could count on you."

Swiftheart clicked his tongue. "Yes, I meant Spiderbite. Thank you Irispaw," he meowed. How has he mistaken a RiverClan warrior for a WindClan warrior? He shook his head.
Fallownose was just about to get up and head to the fresh-kill pile when Irispaw and Swiftheart showed up to report. He dipped his head to the two and listened as they reported. It was odd that Swiftheart had gotten a Clanmate confused with a RiverClan warrior, but Irispaw corrected him and he was quick to fix the mistake. He didn't think there was anything nefarious going on, so it was probably a simple slip of the tongue.
"Thanks you two. You're dismissed."

Featherkit walked over to her sister, Creekit and tapped her. She plopped down onto a nest and stretched. She made her usual signal. It was the play signal. Creekkit and Featherkit had made their own signs. She picked up imaginary prey and threw it into an imaginary prey. @Monarch'Frost

Hazelsky smiles at her kits, watching from her nest.
A massive white paw suddenly covering his large gray one made Wolffang's gaze lift from his grief and lock with the other warrior's. It was a gesture of comfort. That's what touching paws meant, right? It could also mean affection, but the former deputy highly doubted that was the intent. Snowybreeze's following words made his heart ache, and his amber eyes momentarily flitted away as a new wave of grief swept over him. Bravebird had been like that. Even now, he could see her, standing tall as she spoke words of encouragement to the Clan she loved. Yet he also saw her as a young mentor, looking at Fernpaw encouragingly, her gentleness mingling with her dedication to create the perfect teacher for the nervous young tom. She hadn't been gentle all the time, though. Wolffang's mind flashed back to that horrible day when he'd lain in the clearing, his lifeblood rushing out of him. Bravebird had been there to send him off... but he could also remember her harsh, ferocious words as she went off on Lioncloud for being a featherbrain. The world had been fading, but her voice had pierced through, a cleaver of justice to a cat who had slacked off one too many times. Bravebird had been such a strong warrior... a strong cat... and now she was gone, having died of some mysterious, unknown cause.
Wolffang had to find out what had really happened. He already had a plan. But there was another question, one far more pressing, and he was not guilty of the importance it took up. Deadmoon. He had to know what had become of his half-sister. If she'd gone missing again, that would be sad, but there would be hope for her return. But if she had died... Wolffang shoved the thought away, his amber gaze honing in on Snowybreeze intently. The question had already left his mouth. What did the white tom think of it? Immediately, he noticed the young warrior's nostrils flare and his chest expand as he took a deep breath, and tension gripped Wolffang's muscles, making them bulge more than usual. He couldn't stop his stomach from clenching, either. But his expression remained stoic, if not tense and focused. And okay, maybe there was a little trace of worry. He felt very worried, but he didn't want to show it. He had a feeling Snowybreeze would detect some of it, though.
The massive, brown-patched tom seemed very compassionate. Wolffang didn't know him that well, but he could detect his willingness to help his Clanmates and comfort them in moments of grief. Those were good traits to have. Traits Wolffang hadn't had for the longest time. After all, why did a perfect, handsome, brave, strong, just warrior need those things? He wouldn't mind providing kind, encouraging words to Clanmates he liked, but he wasn't as caring as he should've been. That had changed. And he was glad for it. Without his newfound compassion, he wouldn't have grown so close to Leopardsong. He wouldn't have apologized to those he'd hurt. He'd have missed out on so many things... My compassion isn't as newfound as I think it is. It's been moons since I've changed even if I lost several moons to the stars. And it would be here to stay.
Wolffang's remaining ear angled toward Snowybreeze as he answered the question that had haunted him since his return. Pain clutched his chest, but... she wasn't dead. She isn't dead. She'd just gone missing. It had happened before. In fact, it happened to many cats. Too many cats. All of my half-siblings have disappeared. Morningpaw, Snowypaw, and now Deadmoon. He took a breath to keep the warring emotions of pain, worry, and grief away, trying to let his relief that she wasn't dead rise to the surface. Yet he knew he wasn't the only one grieving. The medium-gray tom did not fail to notice the sorrow and worry lacing Snowybreeze's voice and the way it grew stern as his blue eyes hardened with determination as he declared that she would come back. She will come back. She'd come back before, and she'd come back again. Right? She will come back. But Snowypaw and Morningpaw hadn't. She will come back. Featherwhisker and Rosebriar hadn't, either. Good riddance to those two.
Snowybreeze's reverted expression brought Wolffang back to the present, ankle-deep in the cold white snow, the sun beating down on his dappled pelt despite not providing much warmth. Seeing the young warrior looking so pained, so sorrowful, opened something in his heart. His intense amber gaze softened as Snowybreeze spoke, and he moved forward with the intent of pressing his sturdy side against the larger warrior's. "I can tell how much you cared for her, too," he meowed, his voice lowered but louder than a murmur. "There's no need for you to apologize. You told me all you could. Thank you, Snowybreeze. Deadmoon would be proud of the cat you've become, I'm sure of it. She couldn't have asked for a better apprentice. And I'm sure she'll come back. She has before." Wolffang remained silent for a couple of moments, giving Snowybreeze some time to process his words. Then he drew away.
"Is Peachfrost still here?" he asked. "I'd like to ask her more about Bravebird. But before that..." He gave his ragged, light cream-gray neck and chest fluff a couple of quick licks. "Would you like to share some fresh-kill? You seem like a good young cat, and I'd like to speak with you more. If you're fine with it, of course." Wolffang felt a sort of kinship with Snowybreeze despite their short interaction, and as he'd said, Snowybreeze certainly seemed like a good cat - and a good warrior. It would be nice to share fresh-kill with a Clanmate and get to know another cat like he had before he'd died and everything had gotten a little more complicated.

Cowpaw had a keen talent for noticing the small things. Albeit too much, becoming distracted with the details around him - seeking them out and all their mysteries. His floppy ears raised as a sign of interest at the tired voice Lightningkit carried. Cowpaw wished to ask if she was okay, but he held back, wishing to not overwhelm her with questions.
Clearly, he had asked the wrong questions. Asking if she wanted to play seemed to send the kit into panic mode and Cowpaw cursed his foolishness. He didn't quite understand Lightningkit's reaction - but something was plaguing her. Not quite physically... "Deep breaths.. deep breaths.. I am sorry.. I will not distract you.." He reassured, "It is alright... " He mewed quietly. He believed it was something .. hm, what did she mean by she didn't mean it ? Shaking his head, he shuffled a bit closer to her.
His head was tilting to the right with concern, round eyes peering at Lightningkit. "You wanted help... is this help for yourself.... or for someone..? What.. does this help... pertain to..?" He prompted gently, hopeful this would help her focus on the topic she wanted. (Risky, it could do the opposite but sometimes.. a nudge was needed.)
Cowpaw could feel a sense of nervousness building in his stomach, reflecting Lightningkit's own. Not for - not for himself. For her. Empathic to her concerns, kits should not be filled with .. with this. Worry, nerves, negativity. They were meant to be free to prosper. Hmrgh.

Cowpaw tilted his head, raising an eyebrow in interest. "What.. do you mean by more than usual...? Is it common for you to have.. nightmares...?" He inquired, there seemed to be no definite cause, but he was beginning to believe he had a .. possible thought. "Is it.. common for you to have.. worrying.. thoughts.. are .. you typically nervous.. when you are less energic...?" Cowpaw asked.

Bumblekit seemed to stay quiet - he believed this was him? He has been the closest kit to him. Wait, wait, this was him! The flower crown! Cowpaw let out a happy squeak resigned for himself. Then there was Littlekit, an excitable ball of joy, who wanted herbs first. Finally, Risingkit, ghostly yet adorable fella, left it up to him to decide. Naturally, he could not resist a chance to ramble about ..
"Herbs it is..!" Cowpaw mrrped, his feathery tail curling around himself as he situated the poppy flowers and cobwebs, he had gathered. He looked between them, hmm-ing to himself with deep, deep thought. Enie menie.. catch a tiger by it's toe... if it hollers, let it go.. you are not.. it! Aha! "Poppy flowers..!" He lifted his head, pushing the small pile of flowers that appeared albeit withered.
"Ahem, these are not your.. average flowers.. actually.. funny thing is, we aren't really focusing on the flowers themself ... but what is inside them..." The gentle giant started, lifting one of the flowers to begin to shake the loose seeds. "We want the seeds... because when ate.. they can soothe one's distress and make someone sleepy ... one of the most important aspects, is it can soothe pain as well... Only a few should be ate.. less you deal with dire effects.. One is typically what I would give for a minor wound or for someone small.. like a kit..! If someone is bigger or has a more severe wounds.. I may give them two.. three is only for intense wounds... and for warriors.. " Cowpaw allowed the information to sink in before contuining.
"Poppy flowers grow best in new-leaf... and green-leaf... with a lot of sunlight ... to get seeds from said flowerhead.. one can dig their paw in and retrieve them.. or as you have seen me done.. and is my preferred method, when possible, shake the seeds loose.." He let out a yip, nodding his head ti finish his conclusion.
"Any questions..?"
