His stoic look stayed and nothing showed his thoughts inside. "Ajax. Long time no see." he said, his deep, gruff voice adding to his smile. "I see you are still amongst these pitiful jokes for Syndicate cats. Halite doesn't help much does he?" he meowed, his smile faded as he looked around with a disgusted look. He would have snarled but he held that back. His gaze then then turned to the tom. "I see you have made yourself presentable from the first time I met you. Strong and tough. You are doing well to a loyal servant indeed, White Knight." he said. The name stuck with him for sure. "Good. You'll need that strength." he said, a deadly, almost laugh like snarl exited his maw as a dark smile crossed it. He had many plans, ones to rule over the Syndicate and take down the clans who had left him for dead. His mother, who was forced to leave her kits alone because of the clans, his father killed because of the clans. His memory loss was caused by the clans! He wanted revenge and he was going to get it. Hannibal left him for dead so now he had an enemy, but he didn't care for him now. He would rid of him when he came to rule.

Out of the corner of an untrained eye, Ajax spotted the feline slinking like a snake towards him. So soon, I'd expect to be seated here for moons just waiting. thought the Tom Turing his massive head to face the Tom. His black tipped ears Angeled in his direction as his name was called. A purr rumbled deep in his throat as he tucked his charcoal oaws to his abdomen and focused his optics on the Tom. His slender torso muscular legs, shoulders, hips and even his neck seemed more muscular them some dusk syndicate cats here today. Before onyx could say anything he pipped up before he reached a reasonable speaking distance, "Onyx, back so soon." purrs onyx his ears fixed towards him in case he weaves some massive tale into his head of this so called expedition he had. "I lresuem this went well? Considering that expression" he meows tucking his tail around his oaws. "Indeed. Halite has seemed to slightly decrease what was alreayd lacking" meows Ajax. His voice dripping with hate. Sure of himself he scuffled his paws and faced the Tom. Sitting high with his chest puffed out. "That also is true. Onyx. Though I must reassure you. I'm not as pitiful as these cats appear. I would have fled long ago. Only if I wasn't waiting" added Ajax his smooth voice adding to the taunting theme. He breathed out a deep sigh and turned his head to focus on the cats around him. Onyx is right. None of these kittypets seem to really fit the qualification. As in being noticed or strong enough to defend themselves. thought the Tom. Observing the cats for another prolonged second before returning his icy gaze to conflict with onyx's. "Now I wouldn't want to disappoint now would I?" asked the Tom with a hint of sarcasim dripping from his voice. His grin fading into a smirk. Waiting for his response the Tom quickly added, "I did require some work didint I?" he adds quickly. His grin growing in size. "If I must add, where will I be required to apply this, strength? As it appears I'm not need to fight alongside you?" asked the Tom excited to hear back from onyx. His eyebrow raised slightly in amusement. If he was referring to a killing spree he was more then happy to oblige. He had yet to go on a mission with onyx himself. He had only peered in from the sidelines and cheered him on. Though thankful for his ranking he always wished deep down he'd join onyx one day. To prove why he was a better partner in crime then Hannibal could have ever been. He was waiting for this day, though perhaps. It wouldn't come.

Onyx listened with a purr in his throat. Ajax seemed a wonderful ally, and good friend. Maybe he could replace Hannibal as Rightpaw Tom? Certainly he could. "We have work to do. I think it's time we showed what we can do..." he said. "And I need my best tom at, well, his best." he meowed. "How would you like to be the White Knight to the King?" he asked, his deep voice quiet and menacing. It was time the truth was realized and the facts were recognized. It was time for Onyx to step up to power and take over they syndicate, then the Clans, Starting with SkyClan, then WindClan, then the next depended on who was weaker. Soon he'd own the six lands of the forest. Ad any who did not follow, including leaders, would be sent to the desert to find refuge in the old turf and would never be allowed to return unless they joined him. Some would say he had a dumb plan and it would never happen, but this time he was stronger than ever and ready to fight.

Ajax allowed clean rumble to exit his throat to signify his agreement to his statement. Then his ears perked with further more interest in what onyx was dwelling on. Show them what we can do? I like the sounds of that. the toms tail twicthed with a rather trainee like excitement. White knight for the king. the felines throat seized up and he couldn't speak. His heart began pumping two times as fast. Next to the king? Modify would ever dare defy my word. the toms grin grew over his face replacing his previous look of amusment with excitement. His ambre tail flicked and he stood. Looking eye level with the massive Tom who stood in front of him. "If you wish me at my best, at my best you shall see me. Onyx" he meows softly. His voice growing smooth and silky. His body tingled with that feeling, the feeling of untamed power beneath his paws. Overwhelmed pride in himself. "To serve the most feared cat? A noble among commoners. A knight above peasants. A loyal servant to highest King?" he asked running over the multiple names he could now call himself. Becoming more and more amused as he thought up diffrent ideas each time. "Why of course" answered Ajax softly. His grin evolving into a smirk and his tail beginning to lash like it did when he was about to do some sort of damadge to anything. That feeling of eagerness being trapped in something like his tail. His pale icy eyes shone with That same eagerness and that flame that had yet to be ignited yet again. The killing fire. That once blazed so bright but now reduced to a dyeing ember was aging back its power.. and he nodded slowly. His teeth showing in his snooty smirk.

"Purrrfect. I should hope to find the best since not even Hannibal was worthy of the place..." he said and chuckled slightly. The tom left him for dead as he was attacked by Grousestar and Auroraflame. He said it to make Ajax feel proud. The better he thought, the ore Onyx could bend him to his control. He looked around then looked back at him. "We will attack WindClan. In time we will get them to pay for tossing me aside like I was nothing. Then we will go to SkyClan and deal with them." he said, the plot coming together in his head. "Then the weakest, ThunderClan, since they have only a deputy and no leader. Then ShadowClan. The Leader can't trust her own tail." he chuckled, then paused. "Then RiverClan, the strongest. And after we did we come here and take down Halite and Boreas." he finished and looked at Ajax, seeing him ready to explode with excitement. This was going better than he planned. The White Knight was surely going to be a great tom, and soon he'll have many on his side, and the rule would be his. He would take down each clan and make sure that he gains rule over the clans and Syndicate. It was time they all had a King. One king, not six. That was a pitiful number, for the clans to be split and have only one ruler per clan. No, that won't do at all. He was going to rule it all, and no one was going to stop him.

As onyx continued on how Hannibal couldn't fit the position Ajax became slowly sure of himself. The white and black Tom stepped up to onyx resting his tail on his shoulder showing both signs of respect and acceptance then ducked back. "Then I hope not to fail you.ill be the next best thing" he purred. His black charcoal tail flicked in amusement as he began to rake the dirt beneath his paws, revealing the roots of grass that had shrivelled and died Long ago. Ajax caught onyx's wandering gaze, staring deep into the toms eyes. Sure Ajax would give up much of his life to serve onyx. Though some doubt lingered in the back of his mind. Deceitful ruler. thought the feline. Ajax wasn't stupid quite bright and witty actually but now felt completely clueless. If he played along with onyx and his little mind games would he actually join him? or naturally assume what he's saying is true? And live a long life of lavish living? He set aside the thought and purred in response to the praise he was recieveing. "Windclan. The clan of coward's?" he spat in utter disgust and hatred. You are chosen? To be second in command? You are chosen as leader? Why not brawl? It forms a stronger clan. Besides onyx could lead the clans the way they are supposed to be lead. thought Ajax his mind clouding with dark thoughts and ideas. "revenge is certainly the way to go. Wise King" he meows his voice auddnely going low. Perhaps that was t the best thing to have said right then but to please onyx was his mission, why not experiment. "Then thunderclan? The weakest cats. Full of dull pride and useless kits for warriors? Aren't they the clan that chase turkeys around for a living?"meows Ajax a slight hint of his snooty attitude showing within the taunting message. "Oh excuse me, I think that was skyclan" he meows knocking himself in the head with a paw and giving a fake laugh. It was fun taunting the clans. They were so uptight with the code and living according to the way set down by dead cats. Super effective. To obey simply because it as enforced by threats that wouldn't ever be carried out? Enforced by a belief of some higher power. There was a higher power, it was onyx. He'd been the new starclan or whatever. He'd be their dark forest too. He would right their wrongs and make what is their's his, rule the way it was supposed to be. Then he quickly ran over the plot in his head, Windclan the cowards skyclan the freaks thunderclan the boastful Shadowclan the foolish and at last... Riverclan. He still had to find a name to call them when it came time.

"I'd watch your tongue, my Knight. These clans have more power behind them then you think. I should know." he said, replying in a stern, but respective attitude. Ajax was getting cocky, like he was. He had to stop that soon or else it would blind him. He thought a moment and stared deep into his depths of his eyes. They were cold, but they had thought. Not as stoic as many, a good thing. A stoic cat is a bad cat, to Onyx. They won't bend easily. They would break. He smiled darkly as his stoic gaze said nothing of what he was planning. To be a manipulator, toy have to hide everything. He slowly rose his head above Ajax's and looked down on him. "You are a loyal subject. While everyone else has left me you have stayed. You will be ever in my favor, as you will live a wonderful life of power and fame." he said, and turned. "There comes a time when a new ruler must stand up against the odds, and rule his kingdom the way it was meant to be. He has to have loyal people behind him and he must be stronger then the ones before him, whether it be mentally, physically, or even emotionally. If you are stronger than the king before, you have the ever so greatest advantage to take what is rightfully yours. Power." he finished and turned back to Ajax. "We must gather others. I cannot go solely on just one tom, no offence." he said, a chuckle in his voice. "We must prepare." he meowed.

Even though Talon was thrown off balance, she easily slid into a low crouch, a small bump against the white landscape. She saw the bunching of muscles, the way she adjusted for balance, and locked her eyes on Skipper. The feline let out a hiss, and then swore softly; she wouldn't be able to get away. Instead, she'd have to retaliate. She softly hissed, and then scooted backwards slightly, and reared up on her back legs, out stretching her front legs, bracing for impact. All this happened in the fraction of a second it took Talon to leap. The fighter's paws hit Skipper's, and she quickly realized she couldn't take the weight of the brawny molly, and so she panicked. She shuffled back again, barely balancing against the added burden of Talon. As a last ditch effort, she attempted to move to the side, but slipped, falling hard. Her breath came out in a puff of air, and as Talon's paws landed squarely on her quest, her lungs burned with effort as she tried to breathe. She wheezed weakly, coughing to try to clear a her throat. She didn't even try to get the thickly muscled molly off of her; she was out of breath and stunned. Skipper coughed again, a thick, hacking exhale that finally let her breathe with some sense of normalcy. She gulped in deep breaths of air, tilting her head to the side and closing her eyes. "Y... You.. Win." The words were hard to say; she hated admiring defeat, but Talon had clearly won this fight.
|
The second Skipper's side had hit the mesh of snow, Talon leapt back, seeing the obvious distress of her opponent. Talon let out a low growl as Skipper huffed; her emerald hues never left the molly, and her fur didn't lie flat, even when the smaller fighter had accepted defeat. "Are you sure?" Talon asked, her eyebrows arched in a perplexed fashion; none of her opponents-- sparring or otherwise-- had given up the second she had gotten them to the ground. Talon flicked her tail slightly as she watched the she-cat on the ground, wheezing from the effort of fighting. Talon herself wasn't too drained of energy, though she was still breathing heavily; her experience had made her able to withstand more.
The daughter's silvery pelt laid flat against her muscular frame, though her eyes still affixed to Skipper. "Had you not reared, you would have been able to push me to the ground," Talon mewed, her voice more hoarse than she had anticipated, "I only do that move beach are most cats have an instinct to rear, rather than to protect their underbelly." Her emerald hues flickered away from the she-cat for a moment, adreneline still coursing through her veins.

She growled softly, ears flattening. Without another thought, she forced herself to her feet- she would not attack, but showing weakness was unacceptable. "I only stopped because I respect power when I see it. At the very least, I respect you for your prowess in battle," she said flatly, ears pressed against her skull in embarrassment; she had no desire to compliment anyone else on defeating her, and this felt particularly sacrilegious. Her face flushed with heat, and she bit at her lip. "I.. Cede. And that was a brilliant move, really! I never would have thought to rear up like that!" And in a split moment, her face lit up with a child-like joy. She lived for battle, and the speaking of the tactics used in it brought her excitement. "I would have tried to pin them from the side- less chance they could get in my way. That was incredible!"

Re: Dusk Syndicate Clearing
Pale green eyes scanned the clearing, fear and alertness glimmering in them. Tundra let out a small sigh of relief. Nothing seemed to be a danger to her right now. The fluffy furred she cat hated the Syndicate. Well, to be more accurate, she hated the cats in it. The Syndicate was a dark and unwelcoming place to be. Tundra may have grown up here, but each day something would manage to send shivers down her spine. Her claws dug into the hard, dry dirt, her hues darting around nervously. It was as though she expected something to suddenly just jump out at her. And technically, she did. Tundra was a fighter, and a skilled one at that, but she wasn't very strong when it came to talking and interacting with others. In fact, she was just plain awkward. No matter how hard the she-cat had tried, she was always rather awkward and quiet when she talked to others. She hated herself for this. Why couldn't her social skills be as good as her fighting skills?
Tundra was just a nervous bundle in the Dusk Syndicate. She wasn't like most of the cats who lived her. She was hardly noticed and was extremely nervous. The she-cat was better at fighting than most, but she wasn't very strong mentally. The fighter suddenly realized what she was doing to the poor ground below. She quickly lifted her paws before placing them down on the ground gently. She gaze was taken away from staring around for just a few short moments as she did this, before she returned to doing what she doing. Tundra might as well be a guard. She was always looking around, ready for something to attack her.

A brown tom padded into the Clearing. He was pretty sure he'd picked up on how things worked around here...and he didn't exactly like them. Still, so long as he stayed away from the rude cats...and stayed close to the pleasant ones, or powerful ones...he would be safe. Right? Right. Arrow noticed a nervous looking she cat in one part of the Clearing-- she looked safe enough to approach. Safe enough so that he wouldn't get hurt. Safe...what did that word mean, anyways? It had been so long since Arrow had actually lived the word, he had forgotten what it was like to be safe. And he wasn't quite sure how to approach this she cat, wondering if he was going to end up being hurt. Ah well. He had been hurt so many times, one more couldn't... really...damage him any further. Right? Right. It just couldn't. He began to approach the she cat, hues glinting as though he thought she were some sort of a wild animal getting ready to attack him, and he sat down near-- not beside-- her. He didn't want to make things awkward by acting as though he knew her and making it seem uncomfortable for the both of them. And besides that...Arrow was sick and tired of getting hurt. He knew it. He knew there was no denying it, either. How could he? Every time he turned around, he was either getting betrayed or feeling as though he were alone here.
And because he felt so alone...perhaps he really was. There was no telling, to be honest. "Hi." He mewed in a low voice to the she cat, lowering his head as though he were afraid to look directly at her. Arrow didn't like to look a cat directly in the eye, whether they were a she cat, tom, or otherwise. He cleared his throat, glancing up at the sky out of the corner of his eye. It wouldn't be long until dark, and he hated being in the Syndicate at dark. It was the most uncomfortable time to be a part of the bloodthirsty...group. Gang. It wasn't a Clan, exactly, and he knew that most cats would make a point of that, especially the new leaders who probably weren't too happy with their lot. Looking around, all Arrow could see was a bunch of half-starved, mangy cats.
Including himself.

PROFILE PICTURE REFERENCE
I mentioned on my profile that I was starting over. A fresh start is best for me right now; I've created quite a few new characters, and they will all be on my site, but not all will be used in roleplay right away. it's likely I'll bring them in more gradually.
