NightKit ran into the nursery "Guys!" He hid something "RiverWisker killed an owl near camp and gave me some of its feathers!" He got the feathers he hid and showed them to the other kits.

Foxblaze was exhausted.

Over the course of the night, her body had been wracked in pain-- a combination of cramps and convulsions. At first, she didn't understand what was going on, but it quickly became apparent the kits were coming!

Breath coming in labored pants, she forced herself to push the kits out, one after another with a few moments of delay in between. It was hard.. she was gasping in agony by the time the final one emerged, and she sank down in her nest and feebly shuffled to curl around the litter of kits, licking their fur the wrong way to clean them off and warm them. She'd name them in a moment, but for right now, she needed a minute to recover.

Twigkit woke up, hearing Foxblaze's groans, but stayed quiet and still. Seeing all the kits slide out, he decided he should leave. He didn't want his siblings to get hurt. Returning from the clearing carrying a fish, he dropped it in front of Foxblaze. I brought you some prey. he mewed quietly, gazing in wonder at the tiny kits. @Mentallyunstable

He looked around and finally found something strong enough to tie the feathers together.

Foxblaze wearily lofted her head and looked at the fish before looking at Twigkit. “Thank you my boy, I don’t know what I’d do without you here.” She mewed with a voice that seemed strained. She ate a couple bites before looking at the kit, “Here,” she mewed pushing it tword him, “have some.”
