Re: ThunderClan Clearing
Cloudedpaw, also lost in his thoughts, sat upright as soon as he hit the other cat. An awkward moment for an awkward cat. He blushed, giving his shoulder a couple of embarrassed licks. Uhm... Sorry...? He mewed quietly, not meeting Flowerhawk's eyes. He had been too busy drooling over Bearskull in his thoughts to notice all the other cats in the clearing.

Re: ThunderClan Clearing
❀ Flowerhawk ❀
Flowerhawk’s pelt instantly heated with embarrassment when she realized what she’d done. Great stars, she’d felt a lot of embarrassment in the past two days. First the Blackbird situation, and now she’d nearly bowled over an apprentice! As soon as he apologized, she felt even worse. It was her fault, not his, and she rushed to correct that. “No, no, no, that’s bad—I mean, that’s my bad, not bad, you do—didn’t do any—”
She paused and took a deep breath, because she knew otherwise she’d keep stuttering and stumbling over her words. “I’m sorry. That wasn’t your fault, it was mine.” She noticed him avoiding her gaze, and worried that maybe she had angered or hurt him. “I’m sorry,” she repeated. “Are you alright?”

Re: ThunderClan Clearing
Cloudedpaw blushed. It wasn't her fault he wasn't paying attention. No, I'm okay. He croaked, smoothing his ruffled fur. Though are you? He tilted his head, sitting down.

Re: ThunderClan Clearing
❀ Flowerhawk ❀
“I’m fine,” Flowerhawk responded, thankful she hadn’t hurt the younger cat. “Just a little flustered.” She sat down as well, her sleepiness shaken away with the collision. “Hey, I’m Flowerhawk. How about you?” She paused, then decided to add an odd question to her introduction. They were always great conversation starters, and she liked watching cats react and contemplate their answer. Plus, she had no idea how to start a conversation without one. “If you could have anything in the world right now, what would it be?” She flattened her fur while awaiting the apprentice’s response.

Re: ThunderClan Clearing
Brackenclaw- He/Him, 28 moons old, Thunderclan Hornet. Purrks: Just a Scratch.
Brackenclaw was glad they found the cure Aries was quite knowledgeable to know the cure just at a glance of the situation. Pale Purple Coneflower was the plant they needed to gather to save the clan. She gave Raggedear and Brackenclaw the information so they could get a move on back to their clan once they helped to deal with the cougar. Aries did mention they might show up later to talk to Bumblestar Brackenclaw needed to remember to tell Bumblestar that. The Journey however wasn't without it's troubles they lost Lavendersong in the process and while it wasn't confirmed she was dead she wasn't able to be found. Despite the success Brackenclaw honestly felt like he failed. It was his job to protect the Prophesied cats and he wasn't even able to do that not to mention how long they took causing the clan to wait sickened gripped for 3 long moons. Brackenclaw couldn't count this as a win, he refused to. Brackenclaw could however at least get the cure to the clan so they could start recovering. He was so tired though he only slept in naps this entire time as he remained as vigilant as possible so Raggedear didn't suffer the same fate as Lavendersong.
Soon they finally crossed the border before finally making it to the Thunderclan Clearing. Brackenclaw was grateful to be home! Still his job wasn't finished. Brackenclaw and Raggedear had stopped at the Abandoned Twoleg Place and got Coneflowers to get a head start on curing the sickness plus they could teach Wolfpaw how to cure the sickness as well. "Come with me Raggedear we should report to Bumblestar immediately." Brackenclaw would meow through the maw full of herbs in his mouth. Brackenclaw would walk up to the Leaders den and set the coneflower down in the entrance of the den. "Bumblestar I'm sorry for the delay but we've returned. And we've got the cure." Brackenclaw would say simply he would report the rest when he got permission to come into the den. @ korok @ goodacacia @ dino. (Goodacia if you want to have Aries show up I've left it open ended enough to allow for that.)

Re: ThunderClan Clearing
Cloudedpaw looked up. Me? He spluttered, before realizing there was no one else close to them. I'm Cloudedpaw. He answered, though his mouth barely formed words. Anything in the world... He pricked his ears as the warrior spoke. What would it be...? What would it be? To be with Bearskull. That was his answer, but he knew he couldn't say that. He thought hard before curling his lip. I'd like to know where my father is. He meowed evenly.

Re: ThunderClan Clearing
For the last three days, Bumblestar had been rotting in her den. Redhawk's absence weighed heavily enough to render her almost entirely motionless. She had exited a few times to drink and survey the clearing in case of trouble, and had managed to eat twice, but both Spring and the Hornet's death had left an empty feeling in her chest and gut. Usually she could force herself to work through it. Not this time - this time it just felt hopeless.
And just as she was beginning to lose faith in the group she had sent off... they returned.
Brackenclaw's unexpected voice made her ears flip up. A cure. The cure! Ignoring her unsteady legs, she forced herself up to her paws and stumbled out of the den. "You lot had me worried sick!" she barked. "Three moons gone- this is the cure? Wolfhawk, get out here!" A pale purple plant, nothing she'd ever seen before. She lifted her head to inspect the three of them - or, two of them. No, that wasn't right. "Where's Lavendersong?"

Re: ThunderClan Clearing
◢◣ RAGGEDEAR | 29 MOONS | HE/HIM ◢◣
fluffy, russet tom with yellow eyes, torn left ear, & black paw tips
header by @/burntToast
꧁꧂
Raggedear trudged behind Brackenclaw as they made their way into camp, exhaustion weighing heavy in his paws. He hoped that smelling ThunderClan scent again would make him excited and give him a new burst of energy, but everything felt foreign. Really, the question was weighing heavy on him. What if they were too late? Three moons was too long to be away…would ThunderClan even still be ThunderClan anymore? He shook his head as if shaking off an annoying fly. No- he couldn’t think like that.
Hope sparked in his gaze as Bumblestar approached them. She was still here! Surely that meant everything must be okay…right? And it appeared Wolfpaw got his name- at least that’s who the tom assumed she was calling to. He dropped the mysterious flowers in front of him as their leader spoke. Where was Lavendersong? Well…
”We’re not sure.” He admitted, head hanging down in shame and grief. ”She disappeared…we tried following her scent trail but…it’s like she just vanished into thin air.” Had the prophecy called to her in another way? Raggedear had kept wondering that. Maybe she was only meant to take part of the journey with them. It was the only logical explanation he could come up with. He glanced over at his travelling companion, Brackenclaw. ”Brackenclaw was imperative to this journey- without him, I’m not sure we would have been able to accomplish what was needed to get this cure.” He flicked his tail affectionately over the Hornet’s shoulder. ”I’m glad to e got to travel together.”

Re: ThunderClan Clearing
- Wolfhawk -
- He/They - 9 Moons - ThunderClan Medicine Cat -
- A large dark brown tom with a darker back and lighter underbelly, a missing hind leg -
Wolf is not out as demi yet !!What?? Wolfhawk turned his head to the den entrance as Bumblestar called out his name - had something happened? The young tripod medic hobbled out of his den, eyes lighting up at the sight. The prophecy cats were here! well, minus one anyway. The medicine cat was able to overhear what Raggedear was explaining to Bumblestar about Lavendersong - they hoped she was okay. Wolfhawk inspected the herb that the two cats had collected, which was said to be the cure to ThunderClan's mysterious illness. "What's it called?" the brown medic asked. It was a pale purple flower. But the good thing was they finally had a cure, after moons. "Well now that we have the cure, no point in waiting any longer. Come on, let's get this to the quarantine camp," he told the three older cats, although phrasing it as a suggestion.
