* He sighed and uncurled noticing that Mahina was next to him. *
" J-just grieving for Hope... "
* His mind wandered and he forgot who Mahina was for a moment and in that moment he nuzzled her. After doing so he shook his head and stood up quickly. He looked at Mahina waiting for her to yell at him. *

Mahina

She froze. She blinked. She blinked again. Her mind was empty for a few moments before a single thought came into her head. He's mourning. She sighed, lifted her head, and smiled warmly at the tom.

'' No need to freak out. It's alright. If you ever need to talk, I'm here for you. ''

* He stood up and padded outside. He sat down and looked up at the sky. He sighed and calmed down. *
" I hope their okay. "
* He looked back at Mahina. He sighed. *

Mahina

She was looking at Percy with a sad expression when he turned around and made eye contact with her. She warmly smiled at him, but also felt a strong emotion inside of her. Was it pity? She did feel horrible for what he had gone through... at least she was able to save him from an infection.

Mahina

She furrowed her brow, and padded closer to the tom.

'' Why not, Percy? You seem like a cat with a lot of emotions; yet you can't feel love towards her? ''

* He looked up. He gasped and closed his mouth. He let out a small mew. *
" U-um nothing. "
* He closed his eyes and started turning bright red. *
" I wasn't talking about Darcy or Hope. I was t-talking about somebody who is close to me right now as in near or around me. "
* His eyes turned to her's. His eyes showed love and pain. *

Mahina

Her eyes widened in shock. She opened her mouth to speak, then closed it. She stood, her mind going blank again. She really didn't know what to think of this tom's sudden feelings for her. Mahina never had a cat like her in this way before. She sighed, and looked him in the eyes.

'' I... I understand. Feelings can be confusing, you know. Your heart lies with another cat. ''

She forced a smile at him.

'' Maybe it's a case of right cat, wrong time. But I don't want your feelings towards me to mess up your affections towards other cats. You understand? Who knows, maybe these feelings of yours will disappear after you leave this alley! ''

She'd let out a small laugh, before turning her head away from him so he didn't see her sad expression. She was letting go her first chance at a relationship, but this cat had his heart in other places.

(I was also wondering, since Darcie really feels safe here, mind if she becomes kind of to where she lives there as well?)

She hung up the banners inside, and walked out of the doghouse, hanging the two on each side of the entrance. She made a third one, and threw it up, aiming to wrapping it around the lamp pole, and got it right. She watched it loop around stopping as it hung there. "There we go..." She said, smiling as her tail swayed behind her.

* He put his tail under her chin and turned her eyes to met his. He smiled and moved forward lightly licking her cheek. *
" I'm never leaving this alley or you. "
* He sighed and stood up and started padding away. *
