Type as in, you want a Haiku poem or Limerick poem, or just a freestyle poem? Generally it is any type of poem you want and doesn't have to be one of those three mentioned types.

You can add what you want in the poem for extras, like specifics (i.e. talk about Sootfur's journey through life, or talk about his appearance). When there's no extras put in, I'll likely put in some specifics in it anyways. You can also tell what you don't want to in the poem. Hope that answers your questions

Oh, I didn't know about the three lines. Is it possible to have it longer? Like doing many haikus (?) for the same subject?
