(Jovie has two choices: go save herself with the others and leave the cat to die(cat will come back but not until the very end and only for a while), or force herself off Samantha and save the cat(78% chance that Jovie will die but it's your character, but cat will live this way))

Acting upon impulse and instinct, she pried herself from Samantha's arms. Jovie flung herself into the purple beam, sort of swimming through air to reach the cat. Grabbing it by its scruff, she tossed it out of the beam towards her friends.

Okay, now for the consequences of her actions. Jovie stared upwards, starting to realize that she would probably die. Oh no. She looked back towards the other two, hoping they would save her like last time.

Jovie opened her eyes. How did she keep falling unconscious? It wasn't as if she was weak. She sat up, gazing around. What... what was this place? The sight of people stuck in the walls of this dark thing was sickening. She frowned. Jovie wondered if they knew what was happening.

Smoke arose from her dragon-like snout*

"Go that way. Your body shall be healed during this. Once you leave this beast, your leg will break and your arm will fracture again. Now go. You will find the answer to your question down there. You cannot be harmed in here... Yet."

*Soon the center of the beast was seen, and the strange block was there sitting on a higher platform*

*Arches that looked amazing awful lot like the tentacles of the beast were there as well*

*Shadow pointed at the block thing with her blood-stained claws*

Jovie's gaze followed the point of the dragon's claws, and she frowned. The block looked... familiar. She looked back to the dragon. "What is that...?"
