ShadowClan Apprentices' Den

It was a blast while Thornpaw was actually lettin' loose a bit, but when her whole entire freaking MOM interrupted and she stopped, Ruepaw needed to battle his disappointment fiercely. And his attempt to kick the warrior out went poorly, since then THORNPAW got mad. UGH.

"Oh, shove a mossball in it won't you?" he rolls his eyes at Thornpaw. "This is fun! C'mon! YOU'RE NOT A KIT. FIGHT THE ADULTS." As his voice raises, so too does his fur and his destruct-o-meter. The apprentice kicks off the ground and sends moss spraying across the den again, his paws flailing as he tosses one more shredded nest into the torn wall. It makes a sad thud noise and plops to the ground.

And then Galepaw enters stage left, and the calico freezes to stare at him. "I..." What was he doing? He looks at Thornpaw for some kind of answer, then back at Galepaw.

"WE'RE redecorating the den. How'dyou like it?"

She stood there for a second, watching her mum back out of the den. Thornpaw turned very slowly over to Ruepaw, before letting out a giggle at the moss in his mouth.

She stiffened up again at the new arrival, Galepaw, but her fur softened once more as she shredded and tossed the moss. Hopefully they wouldn't get caught by Dawnstar,, but at the same time she was having so much fun!

The flame-point cat let out a squeal, a noise she had never made, in excitement as she tossed a moss ball towards Galepaw.

"Chaos!"

the restlessness tingling in his paws became unbearable as he stood still, listening, absorbing the duo's energy like moss. amber eyes grew wide as moons as the warrior left, and galepaw could do whatever he wanted. a grin split his face and he spoke eagerly. "i love it! but it could use a bit more... over here!" and with that, the zoomies took over galepaw and he threw himself at another one of the den's surprisingly weak walls. using his claws and teeth and all the pent up energy he had accumulated for the past 6 moons, he tore down a small section of it and sprayed debris outside of the den. galepaw's pupils were wide and his smile was playful as he turned back to ruepaw and thornpaw.

"YEAH!" Ruepaw watches Galepaw leap for another den wall, and then looks over at Thornpaw. She was beginning to throw moss around. HEH.

Racing towards a different nest, the calico shoves his paws into the moss, leaves, and other bracken material to pull it apart into clumps. He lifts one up, rears his paw back, and flings it at Thornpaw.

"Take that!"

"Oh Ruepaw! You've killed me!", meowed the flame point, falling over dramatically, making very unrealistic dead noises. She stood still for a minute before jumping up and tearing more moss to toss at the other apprentices.

She honestly had never had friends outside of her siblings? Was that what they were now? At the back of their mind, Thornpaw was still worried about Dawnstar but was choosing to ignore that nagging thought.

Foxkit sat outside the apprentice's den, surveying it. She knew it would be her den soon.

Sagepaw stopped in the apprentice den for a quick moment, bewildered. His old mentor would be training beside him under Willowhaze? He shoved down a quick snicker, trying to maintain his respect for the former warrior. But how could he, when his mentor had been demoted? Sagepaw threw a glance over his shoulder, wondering how the other cats in the clearing were acting. Dawnstar could be abrupt, and Sagepaw had felt intimidated at the meeting, but now he relished in the clan drama.

As he thought of all the other's shortcomings, his mind pulled him toward his too-often dream of becoming deputy. Would he still want the position if Dawnstar was sharp like that all the time? Well, maybe by then he'd be a hardened warrior who would never be cowed by the words of a cat. Sagepaw smiled with satisfaction. He would make a good deputy, once he became a warrior. His smile inked away, though. Would it take longer for him to become one under Willowhaze because of Cloverpaw's actions? Can Willowhaze train them both? Sagepaw shook his head at himself. Cloverpaw didn't need training, he reminded himself. She was just demoted and needs babysitting. Willowhaze will surely devote more of her time to him.

Ducking into the apprentice's den, or rather, lack of it (Larkpaw really needed to make a mental note of talking to Ruepaw about what the hell made him want to tear this den apart), the lithe grey apprentice was ready to slump in her nest to think over everything that'd been brought to her attention recently. From the new responsibilities to Cobwebpaw's situation to Deadclaw's stubbornness. That warrior was just asking for trouble, considering the way she was treating her nephew. It reminded Larkpaw of her own mother, Fablespinner, and the young molly gritted her teeth with barely veiled frustration.

So focused on these new situations was Lark that the former loner failed to notice that one of her multiple brothers was standing a little ways infront of her. Pausing, and then briefly glancing over her shoulder at the den entrance, since Lark hadn't expected anyone to head here right after the meeting had ended, the she-cat stayed silent for a while. Amber hues flicked back to Sagepaw, and then Lark finally lifted her tail to wave. "Hello."
