Her mother hugged her back. After the hug, she let go and got into the car. After Cassie had, she began to drive home

Once they were home, her mother kicked open the door like the feisty shortstack she is and ran her daughter a bubble bath, putting the TV in the bathroom and plugging it in, giving Cassie the remote so she could was TV in the bath to clear her head. She went downstairs and sat on the couch. The janitor had told her what was up and he decided to look in on the animatronic Cassie seemed to like and then feel sad about in a loop
