Specklekit walked repeatedly in circles around the clearing. The purpose of this action was unclear (even in Specklekit's mind), but she completed it with a vigour.

Out of the corner of her eye, she noted Cedarkit whose tail was drooping. Uh oh- Did I mess up again? Specklekit wondered. Had Cedarkit talked to her? She had begun talking upon seeing Sunny, so she wouldn't know if the she-kit had said anything...

"I see," Magnoliakit mewed, not really understanding. "I admire your drive to train." She wondered what Specklekit would be like as a mentor, and what kinds of weird exercises she'd make her apprentice do. That poor kid.

She vaguely noticed some sort of tension between Cedarkit and Specklekit, but her amateur social skills didn't let her understand what was going on. "...By the way, Specklekit, do not go behind the apprentice's den to look at the flowers. That bush is a traitor," she muttered.

(^OOC, that was a reference to Mag's and Cedar's earlier rp)

Specklekit spun around and cheerfully replied, "Hey Cedarkit! Nice ta see you and Sunny getting along. Say, what traitor bush?" she added turning back to Magnoliakit.

Magnoliakit shook her head sadly. "You don't want to know. Anyways, Specklekit, you aren't the only cat to have given me a nickname now. I am now called 'Mag' by Cedarkit. Are nicknames just a part of forming a bond with someone?" She wondered aloud, now pacing around. (Good for stamina.) "Should I give you a nickname, too? Specks, maybe... She kept on going on about possible nicknames under her breath, looking like very serious about the topic.

Specklekit smiled, delighted at the idea of recieving a nickname. She expressed this delight by attempting to pounce on Magnoliakit (your call whether the attack was successful or not).

Magnoliakit flushed, taken aback as Specklekit glomped her. "Ngh...! What are you doing?!" She yelped, flailing around. "S-Specks, you're... crushing me..." She weakly batted Specklekit with a paw as she was squished. It was hard to tell whether Magnoliakit was more embarrassed about getting pounced on or using that childish nickname.

Specklekit giggled and rolled away from Sunny. "S-Specks!!! You said it!" she exclaimed, holding in a laugh. "I'm Specks and you're Sunny!" Specklekit gazed endearingly up at Magnoliakit, obviously pleased with this development. She hopped to her feet and glanced at Cedarkit. "Now we just need one for you!" she said, trying to think of something.

"Any ideas, Sunny?" she asked, turning back to Magnoliakit.

"Hm. I don't think there's a good way to shorten 'cedar'... Cee? Cedy? ...Woodsy?" Magnoliakit sighed in thought. "I'm sure you two can come up with something. Maybe I'm just not creative enough."

Specklekit thought for a moment. There weren't many trees on the moor, much less cedar trees. She had no idea whatsoever what a cedar even was. But it sounded like... "Red." Speklekit blurted, saying the first thing that came to her mind.
