Slatepaw was still iffy. Of course the small apprentice followed her mentors instructions, giving the area a smell. It just smelled like the prairie to her. She couldn't get over the fear though. However, she watched as Whispersong went about her patrol.

The ebony she-cat slowly padded in another direction, glancing around the bushes until she caught the familiar scent of the yellow flower she had smelled just before leaving camp. She padded after the scent and found the precious buds lining the bush. She grabbed a few buds, enough that she wouldn't crush them, and headed back towards where she left Whispersong.

Her green gaze shifted around the area, searching for her mentor, but her ears were flicking around listening for anything suspicious. She still didn't feel the safest being by herself.

Whispersong spotted her apprentice soon enough, glancing around nervously. She felt bad for leaving Slatepaw by herself for the short while, but told herself it was a good thing for her to get used to looking out for herself. It had only been a short duration, after all.

“Good work!” she attempted to congratulate around her mouthful of flowers. It ended up sounding more like “guf wok,” but it was the thought that counted, she supposed. She flicked her tail, beckoning for Slatepaw to follow her back to camp so they could deliver their load.

Blossomkit was about to pounce at Cedarkit's tail again but they heard Cedarkit saying something, they looked at Cedarkit and tilted their head,"What?" she said, looking at Cedarkit.
