While their clanmates gathered, Midnightpaw’s green gaze shifted for a few moments to watch their movements. Perhaps she would be able to pick out her brother in the crowd, or some of their other friends that she could call over to join them–and she found Batpaw. She watched for a few seconds as he practically wobbled his way into the clearing, letting out a quiet, humorous huff. His head was still all jumbled up from the hail, huh?
Opening her mouth to call out a greeting to him, something along the lines of, ‘c’mere, smelly!’, but before she could even make a sound he had shot them a dirty look instead. Her mouth immediately shut with an audible little snap, and she stuck her nose up into the air before she pivoted herself to face Rufflepaw entirely.
Stupid Batpaw! Always being mean, never giving her a lick of respect! He’s lucky that he even has the benefit of being considered my friend.
With her silent hissy fit being out of the way, she shot Rufflepaw a lopsided smile. “Maybe it’s just the same old meeting stuff… Ceremonies and what-not… And as always, saving the interesting things for last.”
And, yeah, she was right. There was a warrior ceremony and a couple of apprentice ceremonies– yay!

____________________________________ Batflight turned away from her conversation as Dawnstar spoke, listening to her leader's words. A new warrior - how exciting! She didn't envy Starrypaw, keeping vigil in this cold.
She watched as one of the kits clambered up the Shadowledge, tail twitching in anticipation. Who would Dawnstar entrust with her mentorship?
Dawnstar was grateful that I stopped that little rogue the other day, she thought. Maybe I'll get to be her mentor? But then again, the leader hadn't seemed all that impressed with the fact that the rogue was still in the territory at all. Shaking her head a little to clear her mind, she turned her attention back to the ceremony.

Hiddenkit sulked sat in the shadows under a tree, watching the cats around her. She hoped nobody would see her. Cuz they all suck. Everything sucks. But that's life, get over it. Just sit in the shadows quietly, like her. She listened to her leader, acting like everything Dawnstar said went in one ear and out the other.

Creekpelt watched realizing that would be Bluepaw someday soon, what a wonderful warrior she would be.
Violetfang watched the ceremony like it was her own, she remembered hers just as it was yesterday, amazing how fast time flew.
