Rainywhisker follows the kit's lead, trailing into the den slowly with Frostpaw. The dark gray tom hadn't been to the nursery since his own kithood, and it felt... Definitely a little strange! But his copper eyes glimmer with worry when he spots Cicadakit lying with a few thorns stuck into him. Before he can go to the kit though, Frostpaw does. The medicine cat frowns, but refrains from edging her away until she is finished.

"Good work, Frostpaw," he commends her approvingly, though not without a slight harshness to his soft tone. "Now you can take these outside. I'll see to the little one."

The kit had become rather raccuous, and Rainywhisker wouldn't let that continue. Not here. Stepping closer now, he sits and curls his tail around Cicadakit. "Tone your voice down," he mews with a slightly bemused smile. "It's fine, Frostpaw did a fantastic job getting you unstuck! Now, hold out your paw. I have to clean you up a little, alright?"

That wouldn't help them!

Lightningpaw thought for a moment after hearing the explanations. "I do want extra credit, but not camp duty! If I can't go out of camp, we can't be the best!" He turned his head back to Stonenettle. "I guess that means I'll have to listen to everything he says!" @Estelle

Why are you trying to get mad at me! I'm the one asking the question! It was a simple yes or no answer,I'm was asking a question about it and you just get defensive! What the hell man. *Tidepaws eyes flashed with the vision of buck before as he walked out of the den,he lashed his tail aiming to hit the leaders face,with it as he turned around* I show you,I'll proof that I'm more than just an appretince! *He muttered to himself,a smirk on his face*

Sighing in relief Lionwhisker gave a nod, Atleast he took his ..apology well. But he gave an excited smile at the apprentice part. Yay! For once he gets an actual apprentice, hopefully they didn't decide to leave like....like condorpaw did. Thinking of that many moons after made his stomach tight. He missed that mischevious ball of fuzz! "And no that's all. Unless you want to hang out sometime ... BUT YES! AHA! NO MORE FROSTBUTT! WHOOO" he cheered only to dance in a prancing fashion.

Buckstar couldn't stifle his laugh and grinned down at the kit. "Yeah? Then I guess hunting will be the first thing we take a jab at."

Fizzlekit didn't understand why he repeated almost everything he said. He looked at him and was thinking that he must be lonely. He had a mom who loved him and curled around him. "Oh- No, I'm not alone. Usually Glidingfeather sleeps in the other nest over there. Don't be sorry." What a sweet kid. "You know, if the nursery seems too small, you could always sleep in here. I'm sure Gildingfeather wouldn't mind, and I wouldn't have any trouble coming up with another nest for you."

Nodding, Glidingfeather felt her grin grow wider. Odd. She didnt expect to grin like that. ¨Sounds great.¨ she answered in regards to the meeting, ¨As for the recommendation, I have to say that I quite highly recommend Eveningmist. In all the place where im... lacking, he seems to cover them quite well. Though he is relatively young, he seems more responsible than most of the other warriors here¨ she explained, seemingly having a difficult time admitting her faults. Though she hasn't really interacted with the large tom, he always seemed pretty dependable.

"Eveningmist, huh?" Buckstar vaguely remembered the tom speaking to Beetlepaw at the last meeting. "All right, then. I'll have a talk with him, see if he'll be a good fit. Thank you." He glanced up at the roof, appearing thoughtful for a moment, and then looked back to Glidingfeather. His grin had been replaced by a softer smile, something slightly mournful. "I really did enjoy having you as my deputy, you know."

Oh, boy. This wasn't going to be easy. "Kind of, yes," he answered slowly. "But it's also where good cats go to rest when they pass on. When they... when they die." He winced, hating how straightforward he sounded. "Frostkit, I'm so, so sorry, but Drfitsong and Gravelblaze have gone to walk with StarClan."

"Do not raise your voice at me," Buckstar snarled, his eyes flashing. "If you want to tell me I'm getting defensive, try again when you can speak to me without yelling. You asked your question - I told you no." He bared his teeth as Tidepaw's tail smacked him in the nose, and spat after him, "If you want to prove you're more than 'just an apprentice', you need to learn to act like it!"

Buckstar felt his muzzle split into a grin. So Lionwhisker disliked Frostpaw as much as he did! "Yeah, don't worry about putting up with her anymore. Worry about hanging out with me and training that soon-to-be apprentice of yours."

Honeypool strode into the den. The scarred molly wore a scowl on her maw, but not one directed towards her leader. "My apprentice, Tidepaw," she began abruptly. "He was just in here, wasn't he? I'm not sure what he did, but tell me if I need to put him in his place next training session. He needs his ego squashed in my opinion."

After his outburst last clan meeting, the warrior hadn't known how to deal with the rebellious lizard. He wanted training, she knew, but he lacked the manners he needed to properly ask for it.

"De- Dead? Driftsong is also- dead..." Frostkit couldn't handle it. Her dad was dead, and now her mom too! A few tears dampened her dark grey fur. Frostkit didn't want to cry in front of Buckstar- but it started anyways. "Wh- who will take ca- care of m- e- now-?" she sniffled.

Glidingfeather couldnt help but let out a laugh, ¨Im not dying, you know.¨ She quipped, glaring mockingly at him. Thinking for a moment, she added ¨But for what its worth, i wouldnt say it was such a bad experience.¨ In all honesty, it really wasnt bad. Sure, responsibilities sucked, but at times it was well worth it.

Cicadakit held out his paw reluctantly, and kept whining in pain, his paw, his legs, his tail, everything hurt, he looked around, his surroundings coming into focus, he was still in the nursery.
