Sagefeather was in truth absolutely outraged that someone had the audacity to drop her down into a ditch, even if it was the cats' from the Dark Forest, as clearly she'd never done something sooooo very wonderful to end up in Starclan. According to her, Starclan was for the pretty loosers like her now dead mate, and well.. her brother in law. Pretty... but losers nonetheless. A pretty loser could be useful though and she would have to remember that and save that knowledge for later.

The scars across her body ached, but guess that is what you got from returning from death. And the scar particularly on her flank was itching like something really bad had sat on it, but... that was the scar from the monster hit. Or at least that was what Sagefeather herself has assumed. But what was interesting was that her deeearest brother-by-mateship, had absolutely no clue what had happened to her, Deerstride or that ugly little mangle of blind brown tabby fur. "I don't know... but it is worrying that he has not returned, as I'm quite sure a few seasons has passed since he was last seen..." she cast her eyes down, a typical sign of sorrow while inside she was gleefully laughing. This was going well so far! Incredibly well!

"Not burned down... or burned down again. If I remember correctly there has been 2 fires since I was last gone... and I like to think thats two too many. Good to hear we're in no fire danger... Care to take me home? I obviously don't know anything of what has happened..." Nope. She knew nothing at all. That at least was partly true, she'd been too gleefully excited having fun with giving a life to the new Shadowclan leader, and torturing her own kid.

"Yeah, well, they're Dark Forest cats." He wrinkled his nose in response. "What do you expect? They've no respect for Clan life. I don't know what StarClan was thinking, sending you there." He had to admit, even if just to himself, that he was a little wary - but even StarClan could screw up sometimes, right? Frostpaw should have been clear evidence of that.

His brow furrowed, and he glanced down at the flower again, deep in thought. So no sign of Deerstride. Which made sense, because Sagefeather had been cast into that dark place, and Buckstar absolutely could not see his brother being sent there if he was dead, which was a painful thought to think. He just had to hope Deerstride was out missing somewhere, and not wandering StarClan by himself. "I'll keep an eye out for him, and let you know if I catch sight of him. I hope he turns up soon." He hadn't seen him in a while, but one could always hope, right?

"Okay. Yeah. Home. Of course." He seemed to brighten a little at the prospect of going back to camp. "A lot's changed. I like to think it's a bit bigger now, but it's like this open grassy clearing with a huge willow tree in the center. It's great. I think you'll like it. Follow me, it's this way."

He started off in the direction of camp, though not before sparing her one brief contemplative glance.

Buckstar frowned. "You know you aren't supposed to be out of camp by yourself. If you wanted things, you could have gotten me or someone else to go out for you. What if you had gotten hurt, or killed?"

Cedarkit jumped back, startled by the leader. As her eyes widened, she realized who it was. It's Buckstar? She thought as a cold wind swept her fur to one side. "Oh... Uh... I was playing a game with my friend, you see..." Cedarkit began to explain calmly. Even though she felt like her tail was about to freeze off, she could still stay calm and collected. "When one of the Leaf-bare storms got bad, she ran off leaving me to freeze." The kit admitted that she probably should have realized sooner, but she wasn't the best at observations. So instead, Cedarkit ended off her explanation with an awkward laugh.

One eyebrow shot up. "And who's this friend of yours?" he questioned. "I sure do hope it isn't some other kit, ThunderClan or otherwise. You should know you aren't allowed to be out of camp, under any circumstances. And they shouldn't have run off and left you out here, either."

Icepaw squeaked as her father almost suffacated her until she was able to pull away "i kinda got....lost....and I found out i have no sense of direction....oh yea and a stupid fox decided he was gonna try to eat me!! Eventually he kinda gave up and wandered away but I wasnt sure so I moved at night and was really cautious even though I could have been less but I finally found my way here after i caught some familiar scents" she stared at the ground embarassed, the way she spoke showed that she was already over it.

"Sorry! Sorry - it's just been so long." He took a moment to look her over, checking for any possible injuries. "I'm really glad you're okay, that that fox didn't get you. Do you need to go see Rainywhisker for anything?"

"I-I don't want to get them in trouble..." Cedarkit said nervously, stumbling over her words. Her friend would hate her if she told. Just like the saying, "snitches get stitches". On the other hand, though, this was the leader. Cedarkit might be banished for this, or worse!

Uh oh. He wasn't just going to go running off now... because Sagefeather had one last request to make. "Hey, wait up for one second, I have one more... request." More like a demand, because she needed a new name if she was to remain undercover and not be recognized, especially by the little demon. "In order to make our clanmates a bit more... comfortable with the aspect of having a long presumed clanmate come back from the dead, I would prefer if a name change could very well be in order. Do you mind if I go by the name Hailstride now?" Hailstride... because the large black warrior liked the sound of it. Hail was strong... or at least painful for sure, and surely her cutest brother-by-mateship would like the suffix part of her name... an honor to his now... actually dead brother. But he would not know that Deerstride had passed for some time for sure.

Flamepaw though over it. Lightningpaw's mentor... "I suppose that's possible," she meowed, thoughtfully. She hadn't seen much of him in all honesty, so what did she know anyway - it had only been an observations "maybe he awesome," she finally meowed, not wanting to risk Lightningpaw becoming less... Well what he was now. He seemed so excited!

"Yeah.." Flamepaw mumbled, kicking the ground softly with her paw, until she got an idea "m-my mentor already showed me how to crouch, a-and sneak! I'm not to good at it yet, but I could show you! And... And I dubt we need to know much more for hunting, right?" It made sense to her: once you knew that all there needed to be done was catch the prey and kill it. That couldn't to hard, right? And if anything, surely Lightningpaw could do it, she presumed.

Icepaw laughed a little "no dad I'm fine! these scratches are just from bushes" grinning she pressed against him again happy to breathe in his scent and feel his warmth against her.

Leafkit says I,m sorry Buckstar. I chased a butterfly out of camp and got lost, while the deaf Sheepkit, not hearing Buckstar doesn,t reply. @Slushie.

Cicadakit kept whining in pain, his paws were sore, his ear was hurting, he couldn't feel his tail cause it hurt so much
