Fleckkit bolted out of the nursery, eyes set on their target, a large warrior, who she will now destroy, with a small leap she landed on their tail.

Oooo, SPOOKY. There was, like, an aura or something radiating off of this cat. Smolderingkit's eyes lit up as Vixensnarl turned around to stare at him; then she sat down. He had to stop himself from bouncing up and down on his paws, because that meant he had WON, which, in turn, obviously meant he was AWESOME.

He quickly gathered himself to copy her, tail wrapped neatly around his paws, shoulders and back upright, gaze fixed firmly ahead. He nodded sharply and made a show of snapping his jaws shut. Not another word out of him unless it was to answer or ask questions. Stealthy... like the SHADOWS. YES.

No slacking. All dedication. Smolderingkit nodded again, brown furrowed and bottom lip stuck out in deep concentration. He nearly shot to his paws when she finished with what sounded like an invitation and had to squash the bubbling urge in his paws. "Could you teach me some??" he exclaimed. "I want to be strong, really!! Like you, and like Dawnstar!" He didn't mention his brother's name; Darkpaw was family, sure, but Dawnstar clearly didn't like him, and Smolderingkit was going to be careful not to bring him up if that meant he shouldn't like him either.

Well, at least it seemed like Smolderingkit actually meant what he said. As long as he wasn't annoying, Vixensnarl wouldn't mind teaching him a move or two. Plus, his copying her posture gave him some extra points. Smolderingkit's behavior reminded the brown tabby about her first apprentice, Daintypaw, and how she had done the same thing at a Gathering where they talked.

"Well, since you're small for now, you'll want to use that to your advantage. I want you to try darting towards my forepaws, low to the ground, and aim a swipe so that you drag your paw along the back of my forepaw and then dart away. If it was a real enemy, you'd seriously injure a muscle there and possibly prevent them from using their front paw at all," Vixensnarl explained as she stood, giving her pelt a quick shake.

"Go ahead and try, but remember to be fast because a larger cat could grapple you into submission if you don't get out of their reach quick enough."

Well, well, well. Look who it was. Despite her earlier thoughts, this wasn't half bad of an option. Sure, she was thinking of murdering half the clan somedays, but when she was with her littermates she always a bit more happy than otherwise. Happy, wasn't quite the right word, but it was something close enough. She liked her family and that was half the reason she hadn't died of boredom yet, the other half being the idea of becoming a warrior.

Spiritkit wasn't one of those pathetic little pansies who thought the reason of life was to prove their undying devotion to Dawnstar, an example of which could be found across the clearing. No, she was here to prove to every other cat out there that she was better than them, and that was the simple truth. "Hey, Shiverkit." Blue eyes moved from where they had been staring at a random pair across the clearing, as her words tumbled out in the usual lazy manner. "How have you been?" Small talk was necessarily useless when the two shared a nest, but she might as well started somewhere. "Heard anything good, lately?"

The unstable she-cat sat in the clearing, thinking of the two cats she had murdered... MeadowLeap and JayTalon... Both had it coming though, right? they had been disrespecting ShadowClan... JayTalon, who was trying to give away our prey and MeadowLeap, who prevented HeatherRain from hunting... she decided she did the right thing... It was a blessing to see mice this time of year, three of them for exact. MeadowLeap went ahead and scared them off to make HeatherRain look bad... and now MeadowLeap will never make anyone look any way again... Must suck to be her... she thought, sarcastically.
