Deadkit looked around the nursery for a kit to play with. He sighed when he don’t find one. “One day I will be ShadowClan's leader!” He purred at the thought. “Deadstar!”

Tumblekit flinched. She flopped into her nest clumsily, moss entangling with her pelt.She yawned, softly nodding off to sleep . Tomorrow was a new day.

"Nearly gotcha!" Venomkit chuffed as she landed where her friend had just been. Talons curled into the moss and dirt of the nursery floor as he gained some distance. Coking her head with amusement she started slowly prowling towards him. Venom hadn't had this much fun since...well this was the most fun she'd ever had! Bet her frind was enjoying this as well! He looked just as ready for action as herself! No way he'd be able to stand up to her for long though, she'd be the best fighter in here by the time she reached apprenticeship! In her mind she already was!
Barely holding back a bout of hysterical laughter, The toygress did her best to look serious and intimidating(by the way Spiritkit was describing her maybe she was) but couldn't stop breaking into a grin. By the time she had half way covered the space between them, the large kitten had accelerated into a charge, rushing at the black tortishell, attempting the same move she did previously. Her snake like canines bared, trying to actually get a grip on him this time; she didn't want to keep chasing them about!
Ok so talking to this kit brought more questions then answers. First off he only had one sibling which, was...not much? So who were the rest of these kit and then he said his mother was no longer around so where had she gone? What's was a nursery and why didn't all the other mothers have their own den like her mother. What even was a warrior even anyway?? She didn't hide the confusion that masked her expression. "I don't understand? Nursery is for every kit and mother. Why don't they have their own dens? And what's a warrior anyway." she asked tilting her head.
Sitting down next the kit she indicated to the entrance of the den. "you see that big tree outside the den, my mother's den I write behind it on the otherside. It's only us in there, sometimes big cats visit to talk to mother or ask her questions. They always so serious." she explained. Did the same thing happen here? Probably not. It made sense now why there were so many nest, for all the different mom's but she still didn't get why her mother and her littermates got their own den? Was it a bad thing.

Bearkit's frown grew deeper as Adderkit asked more confusing questions. How could she not know what a warrior was? Bearkit couldn't remember a time before all his mother's stories about the noble cats that he would eventually grow up to join. He tried to explain, "Well... yeah, when she-cats become mothers, they move to the nursery with their kits, 'cos its safer in her, I think. Um... warriors are... well, they're grown-ups, I guess. They're the ones that hunt for us so we can eat, and they protect us, too."
He followed Adderkit's indication to see what den she was talking about. Did she mean... Dawnstar's den?! He was so shocked he had to take a moment before flat-out asking: "Wait, so your mother is Dawnstar? Really really?"

Nosing his way into the nursery with some supplies to patch any holes, he sets them down at the entrance and eyes the kits and queens inside. First he would complete his task. Then he would focus on it's inhabitants. Quietly he ventures further into the nursery and begins to scan it's walls for any holes or weaknesses. He's not sure if Fishkit escaped from inside the nursery or just out the entrance but after doing a lap he can't find anything too concerning or out of the ordinary.
Despite this, however, he takes up some of his supplies and reinforces any weak spots he had found along the way anyway. There was no harm in things being extra secure. And besides-- Leafbare was once again on the horizon with it's snow and cold weather. The nursery more than anywhere else needed to stay cozy and dry for the kit's sake. Finally finished, he nods to himself, swelling with pride before turning his attention to the occupants.
"Anyone need anything before I leave?"
