Pearnose looked back at Fogkit silently, observing the new, strange kit who Dawnstar wanted to inspect. Pearnose wasn’t a queen, nor did she have any younger siblings, so she had no reason or way of knowing most of the kits in ShadowClan, nor did she care about ShadowClan’s kits. However, if their leader was pointing out the little furball who was seated next to their medicine cat, something was clearly wrong.

After observing the kit for a moment she turned her attention back to their leader standing on the Shadowledge in all her glory.

Spiderkit ran up when the massive six moon old with six toes on each paw heard her name called and realized that she was becoming an apprentice, eyes wide open.

Littlekit shyly headed over with Spiderkit when he heard his name, already nearly as large as Spiderkit. Once he was the runt, hence his now-ironic name but now the only littermate he was still smaller then was Spiderkit, and not by much.

Flamekit headed over.

The black molly blinked her one good eye, twisting to look at the kit in question. Fogkit. She winced, guessing that a portion of Dawnstar's ire was towards the presence of a RiverClan kit in camp. She pushed herself to her paws, approaching the heavily pregnant Lostspark and settling by her once Fogkit had gone. She didn't say anything, but her scent--pine and mossy earth--gave her away as the cat who had spoken to Fogkit in the medicine cat's den. She needed to speak to Dawnstar and Vulturefang about gathering a patrol to search the border for a RiverClan cat to speak to about the kit.

Fogkit stares at the leader with his jaw wide open. Oh no. She’s going to eat him.

He stands and looks into Sleepykit’s eyes. He opens his mouth so say something but stops. No, a kit can’t do anything. He needs an adult. Fogkit had seen Darkfall in passing, but didn’t know his name before this moment. But, he still has to try.

“Please don’t,” Fogkit whispers to Darkfall, his eyes shining and whiskers quivering. Memories of being claws digging into his side flash in his mind and he jumps.

Then, a new cat arrives. Mittlewhisker, the one who gave him a frog for the first time. His little body shakes as he looks up at her as well, scared if he opens his mouth he will start crying.

Some weirdo kit had somehow invaded camp and no one had noticed apparently, but right now that wasn't Glowingkit's problem - it was Darkfall's, and he was pretty certain the enforcer could handle himself, although Dawnstar definitely didn't seem happy. At the sound of his name, he rose to his paws and trotted forward, chin tilted up.

Dancingkit stares at the leader, the words going in one ear and out the other as she slowly picks up some dirt and begins munching.

Pumpkinkit watched her leader curiously, then turned her green eyes towards Spiderkit, Eaglekit, Littlekit, Flamekit and Glowingkit, she felt happy for them.
