Russetstrike was quite late to the meeting, he had been having some chills that he just couldn't get rid of. He'd probably have to see the medicine cats about this but, was going to wait a few more days to see if it resolved it self.
He had been listening to Sootstar from inside his nest so knew mostly what was going on and just sat right outside of the den, ready to curl up again.

Snowpaw could see her mentor and smiled at him happily she purred softly as she listened to sootstar.

"I don't kn-" Fawnkit's reply was cut off by Sootstar's voice cutting through the clearing. He stared at the two cats getting mentors. Whoa. @Kyrieknight

Reedkit fell silent, watching the cats. He felt... strange, watching them go through the ceremony. However, he kept it to himself and kept watching.

Fawnkit turned his head back to Reedkit. ”That’s cool! We’ll get to do that?” He knew the answer was yes, obviously, but he wanted to confirm it. @Kyrieknight

Sootstar smiled warmly down at the small tom. He couldn't help but recall when he had joined the clan so many moons ago.

This was it! A rush of adrenaline and joy flowed through the young cat as he stepped forward through the crowd. He felt as if he had grown so much in his time as an apprentice, looking back on how anxious and unfamiliar he was with Clan life before. Now, the siamese walked with his head held high and his tail upright. He met Sootstar’s eyes and returned the tom’s warm smile.

He was ready.

Whoa, a warrior, too? He'd get to see a cat become a warrior! He stayed silent and watched, unable to wait for his warrior ceremony already. @Kyrieknight

Reedkit fell silent, but couldn't stop himself from getting excited. Someday, he would be up there, becoming an apprentice, and then warrior! He really couldn't wait, but remained respectful as he watched. @Phoenix Fall
