(I just thought of something, what if Kestrel'Paw view Sorrel as like one of the boys due to her boyish personality but as sorrel develops feelings for Kestral'Paw she becomes more girly? *obviously will still have a Tom boyish charm to her* and the Kestrel'Paws view goes from a good friend to possible love interest? Sorrel'Paw had a smug look on her face."Good! Time for operation bugs to go underway~". She gave a small evil laugh as she looked at Kestral'Paw.'Hmm maybe for my next prank I put some mud in a piece of prey and feed it to them? Hehe sounds like fun!'. As unlady like thoughts entered her mind she looked at all the bugs happily, she caught the glances of two she cats who looked at her in disgust, she felt a sudden discomfort and a little sad.'I should be glad Mother is out hunting or whatever she is doing, she wouldn't want me doing this...'. Kestrelpaw gaze slowly travelled to where to mollies were,who looked about his age, maybe a few moons older. His whiskers twitched seeing them look at, Sorrelpaw in disgust. He furrowed his brows lightly, flicking his tail. Though,his attention quickly went back to his friend. He looked back down at the leaf filled with bugs. He picked it up, starting to walk towards the apprentices den. His twitched his tail, signalling for the molly to follow him.

The mood seemed to lighten up as Oakflame emitted a snicker. "Cloud you could be the deputy! You sound real serious!" He said, eyes slightly wide with a grin, pointing one paw at his friend. He flicked his tail with a nod, humming a small tune. "I do agree though...death is a natural thing..so you have to learn to deal with it." He said rather casually while scrunching up his nose after.

Clouddash dropped his serious tone to playfully nudge Oak's shoulder, "Only because it's a serious topic!" The gray tom mewed defensively. Clouddash winced along with his friend, He wasn't very good at change and losing someone is quite a drastic change that he hoped he wouldn't have to deal with anytime soon. He quickly pushed away his worries, and the dark topic, before they could take over his thoughts, "Anyway... Would you care to become deputy I think you'd be great for the job." Clouddash mewed hoping to move the conversation to a happier topic.

Cloud said rather sarcastically snorting at his own joke. Ha! Me as a deputy!? Never going to happen, The tom thought to himself.

Bright gaze took in the changing surroundings. Locustpaw was glad that new-leaf was bringing the end to leaf-bare. The sandy tom disliked the cold weather and loved the warmer seasons. He could understand how anyone could enjoy the cold. Despite the fact that he did grow a winter coat, it still provided no protection when it came to the snow. His pelt was still thin. The apprentice honestly felt as though he was meant for the warm new-leaf and green-leaf. The heat didn't seem to affect him at all, though he had to admit that he did still enjoy the cool river during these times as well - of course, it was still too cold sometimes when he would get out of the river, which was something that he disliked.
