She noticed he looked utterly bored and irritated, and she sighed inaudibly. Tealeaf had been hoping for a pleasant apprentice, but from the look on his face she realized that was probably wishful thinking. Not sure if she should judge immediately, she grinned. "Hi! I'm Tealeaf, you're mentor. It's nice to meet you!" She trilled, dipping her head.

A moment of silence went through the tom-cat’s ears before a voice disturbed his peace, making his eyes flicker over to the she-cat and give her a slow once over with his judging gaze before meeting her eyes. “So, you are the one they choose to mentor me, eh?” Ferretpaw remarked, his tone rather cold, but not completely heartless, “Pleasure to meet you too, Tealeaf. The name’s Ferretpaw.” He said once and only once, stretching out his front paws before giving another sigh and craning his neck slightly. “So, Tealeaf, what do you have planned for us today?” Ferretpaw asked, sounding overall uninterested, but asking anyways, “I do hope that you aren’t one of those warriors who is going to make me recite the warrior code until I get it correct.” He muttered, not wanting to sit around and chat nonsense.

His eyes seemed to pierce her soul and she resisted the urge to shudder. She was the one mentoring this cat, after all. Ferretpaw couldn't be that bad.. could he? She spaced out slightly, thinking of the scary thought he could be the worst possible apprentice. But Tealeaf just thought she was assuming and snapped out of it in time to hear him speak. "I was thinking we could explore the territory a bit, you know, learn the places and boarders for the first day!" She replied, her plan included hunting at first, but it'd probably take a bit to tour the whole territory. "Oh, i'm not gonna do that" she chuckled. "We should probably get moving before it gets too late.." she added, flicking her tail and gesturing for him to follow as she headed into the territory. (We will continue in the territory)

Should I bring in Finkpaw?
"Hunterpaw!" Swiftpaw groaned, glaring at him playfully.
"Hey Hunter!" Curlypaw mewed happily.
"Big bro!" Snowpaw purred
"Well, here or not, I'm still gonna win!" Swiftpaw pushed her paws into the ground and pushed herself forward, giving herself a boost and speeding in front of the others.

The small, black-furred apprentice raised an eyebrow as she spoke, listening to his mentor’s words with an occasional flick of his ear. “Fine with me, as long as we aren’t trapped in this place like some corned hare.” Ferretpaw huffed, rolling his eyes before heaving himself to his paws and looking at her for a moment in silence as she told him that she wouldn’t have them sitting around. “Good. Maybe you won’t be as useless like the other stuck-up warriors in this clan.” Ferretpaw retorted and followed after her with his tail twitching back and forth behind him as he walked. The tom-cat hoped to not be bored to death with this or be babied around.

(Omg yess)
Hunterpaw just laughed, and shoved his back legs hard against the ground, giving him a boost and he passed Swiftpaw with a yowl. "Come get me, Sweetheart!"

(Where we left off)
Tealeaf sighed at his words, he seemed very disrespectful. Well, he thought she wasn't useless.. that was good. Maybe? She honestly didn't know. Continuing through the territory, she kept glancing back to make sure the rude apprentice didn't slip from behind her and run off somehow. She was pretty agile, so it wouldn't be to much if she saw where he ran, but if she didn't then it would prove a problem for the spacey warrior. Swallowing her fears, Tealeaf flicked her tail. The scent of RiverClan - water, fish, and cat - was strong in the area and gave away the boarder. That and, Tealeaf noted, the water slightly visible in the distance. "Get a good sniff of RiverClan scent, it'll come in handy if someone ever sneaks over a boarder." She told Ferretpaw, herself appalled the strong fishiness coming from the territory.

Ferretpaw followed after his mentor in silence, his green-hued eyes still having that dull, cold emotion within them. He would occasionally look around at the sight of the hunting grounds around them as they walked and multiple times he considered bolting to go for that run that the small apprentice had wanted in the first place, but he supposed that if he wanted to become a warrior someday, he needed to follow this she-cat and her orders, no matter if he hated being bossed around or not. After a while, Tealeaf halted in front of him and Ferretpaw gave a sigh, stopping in his tracks as well, the grass dry underneath his paws. He looked at her when she turned her head to say to him about the Riverclan border. The black-furred tom parted his jaws to scent the area and a terrible stench went through his senses, which made him gag and shake his head. “Bleck!” He grumbled, hissing slightly in disgust, “Is that what those fish-brains smell like? Great Starclan, that is repulsive.” The rude male stalked forward at the edge of the border and looked in the distant at the water that could be barely seen. He huffed and turned away. “Well, they won’t have to worry about the likes of me on their land - they can keep all their precious fish to themselves.” He spat, his nose scrunched up as he tried desperately to get that smell out of his scent range.

Tealeaf sighed. "Yes, Ferretpaw. It's what those" she stopped uncomfortably "'fish-brains'" smell like. They eat different prey you know." She said, keeping her tone cool as she wondered if she'd put up with this talk if she was a stricter cat. The problem, she sucked at being strict. Oh well, as long as he got to be a warrior - sooner than later - then she'd be done. At least he won't cross that boarder for sure.. she thought, sighing and turning. "Come on, perhaps the ThunderClan boarder will be a bit better smelling." She mewed, continuing on in another direction as the stench of fish faded away and she smiled softly. As much as she disliked Ferretpaw's attitude, they could agree on one thing. Fish smelled awful. As they neared the ThunderClan boarder, it smelt of mice and forest. It was odd to Tealeaf, with the open moors she was used to she wasn't sure how they hunted. "As you know, ThunderClan cats are built for dense forests and hunt better in grasses and under the cover of trees, like we hunt better on open moors." She explained, hoping to get the boring information out of the way. "I suggest getting a good smell here too, it's not as bad as RiverClan."

Re: WindClan Clearing
Lighteningkit looked at the sky with narrow eyes for a moment before looking around the clearing. Her ginger fur fluffed up slightly as she waited impatiently for her siblings to arrive, her amber eyes focused on the den entrance of the nursery. Letting out a huff accompanied by the quick lash of her tail, she began walking towards the fresh kill pile to grab a small mouse. She hadn't eaten this morning, and her stomach grumbled in irritation as she picked up the slightly stale piece of not-so-fresh kill. It wasn't rotten, though, so it would have to do. She wouldn't be able to eat anything bigger, after all. Irritation flashed through her eyes as she thought of her dilemma. Lighteningkit was only three moons away from becoming an apprentice, yet she couldn't eat larger prey yet. It annoyed her. Actually, everything about being a kit annoyed her. She wanted to be out there, hunting, patrolling the borders and chasing rogues and loners off their territory alongside her mentor... whoever that would be. Taking a bite out of her mouse, she let her eyes rest on the entrance of the nursery once more. What was taking Graykit and Sandkit so long?

Ferretpaw’s tail twitched back and forth as he looked over the border at the Riverclan, not noticing how uncomfortable and annoyed his mentor was because of his rude and disrespectful behavior. Although, he did hear her mention that they just ate different prey. “If you say so.” The black-furred male muttered and swiftly turned on his paws to face Tealeaf instead of the border. “Perhaps, but we certainly have the best prey that only the fastest and strongest can catch.” Ferretpaw remarked, padding after her as the two traveled to the Thunderclan border line now. He, once again, listened to her information, this time about Thunderclan, in complete silence until she was finished speaking. His jaws parted once more as he scented the other border. “Hmph.” Ferretpaw grunted, “It doesn’t smell as bad as the other border, but nothing beats the smell of Windclan.” His tone, for once, was rather casual as he spoke of his home, but it didn’t last long. “I wonder how those silly bee-brains hunt in the cramped forest without bumping their heads on branches or getting swatted in the face by leaves.” The apprentice chuckled, imagining a cat bumping into a tree branch as they hunted for something and not paying attention to their surroundings. He looked to Tealeaf as he took a moment to think. “So, where now? Got any place else worth showing?” Ferretpaw said, his ears twitching at the slightest of sound that came from Thunderclan’s forest area.
