Sage growled. “My friend being wounded is not the only reason why i came! I-“ He stopped himself. Navy was the only reason that he was here. Why he fought for his land. But he won’t deny that when he saw his land he was excited to meet his family. No matter how cold hearted this wolf was he still wanted to see his family.

Well, most of that excitement was gone now. Thanks to his son, who he still did not know the name of. His tail flicked and he tensed, looking as if he was ready to go back in for a fight. But he stayed put-not willing to embarrass himself in front of Navy again. After all, Shaltear must’ve trained his son.

He remembered when he first met Shaltear. She was an excellent fighter, and when he taught her some other moves she became even better. He forgot most of what she taught him though. He took a deep breath and moved his glare to Navy, which softened once again.

“It is your choice. I cannot judge how bad you wound is for you.” His tail flicked once again.

Viper felt uncomfortable but stood her ground, not wishing for them to have to enter. But she recognized that her mother didn’t seem to have much concern for the wounded wolf. What was she doing?

"I dont know. " He looked at her stomach. "Will you be able to handle the walk?"

Navy sighed and sat down.
"I would appreciate a night to rest." He said to Sage. "Then we can go. My leg should be healed enough after. . "

Sunset swatted at him. “I can handle myself just fine thank you!” She smiled at him. “I’m not a pup.”

Sage’s eye twitched ever so slightly but nodded. “He wishes to stay...if you want I’ll lead him to the old den on the edge of the territory, which was mine before i met Shaltear. Then we abandoned it.”

Sunset smiled and began to pad around. “So how far away is it?” She was obviously excited. Her brown(?) eyes held a spark of adventure and mystery in them, much like one of a pups. After a bit of silence she looked st him and gasped. “Are there butterflies? I haven’t seen them in forever..”

He nodded. “Of course.” He then turned to Navy. “Follow me it should be close by.”

Taka laughed a little. "Someone is excited. " He said. She was so energetic, she was like a pup. "Its not that far. Come on. " He said walking out.

Navy followed slowly behind him silently.

Sunset eagerly followed him. Though she was upset her stomach seemed to get in the way of her speed she didn’t let it slow her down, well, she could only walk so fast. After she felt a breeze course through her fur she turned to him to break the comfortable silence.

“So....Do you go to there much? The grassy area?”

After a bit of walking they finally came up to a couple of trees gathered together, they seemed to be uprooted a bit to make an entrance at the bottom of them. “It looks small from here but trust me, there is a lot of room underneath. “You first. I’ll try to hunt you something...” He began to turn away but paused. “Navy I-“ He stopped himself. It was too late now. Navy has seen the part of him that was one of the reasons why he ran away from his pack in the first place.

He quickly turned back around and padded off.

Navy followed, slightly limping at the end. After a long silence, he looked up at Sage. He wanted to say something about what happened earlier, but he couldn't strike the courage to do so. He watched him go off to hunt, and he knew he missed his chance to talk about it.

Sunset, Who was a bit out of breath, froze at the sight of the land. “Whoa...” She got out of the shelter of the trees and padded into the open, a sudden blast of wind hit her and she stood enjoying it. “Taka this is amazing!” She looked around once again not believing it. “How’d you find it?” She asked as she gestured for him to join her.

Sage padded around the forest, a sense of nostalgia hit him and he breathed deeply remembering the many moons he had spent here. Once he was pulled out his trance he came to a small waterfall. He stiffened at the bad memory that tried to resurface here and turned away. Life never lets him have a peaceful moment does it?

Sage then spotted something scurry across the land, and dashed after it, and after a bit of a chase he killed the bunny and smiled. Navy will have food tonight.

‘Tear it apart’

He tensed and shook his head as he grabbed it and started walking back.

‘Run away like you always do. He will be safe here.’

He ignored his thoughts and continued one. Each paw step seemed to get heavier yet he kept pushing on.

‘You ruined it. He saw it. He saw you. The real you.’

Sage stopped and took a deep breath, his heart was pounding though there was no apparent danger. He mind screamed for him to run but where? You couldn’t run from yourself. He took another paw step forward and noticed he was slightly shaking.

After a bit of a long journey he returned to his dean. “Navy I have a rabbit for you.” His voice was a bit muffled, though his anxieties never stopped trying to take over his mind.

Sunset nodded. “It’s a good find. It’s beautiful. And so peaceful..” She looked up to him and smiled. “Thank you for sharing it with me. I love it here..” She exhaled and plopped on the ground. ”It’s so peaceful.”

”I’m not hungry.” He stated blandly. “Your healing. So you eat.” He pushed the rabbit towards him and smiled gently. “I’m fine. My priority is your health right now. I’ve suffered worse.”
