wormpaw listen intently, his muscles relaxing at the apprentice's happy manner. everything was alright. he tilt his head, asterkit? not to sound like a elder but, generally .. kits were very vicious and just somewhat vile. with few exceptions. he hum softly under his breath, "no clue, gotta tell me, " he purr with amusement-- perhaps they were opening up a new branch in the army? could they even gather enough cats for that..? the dark lord struggled to gather fellow apprentices. wormpaw was usually acussed of plotting against riverclan which was just minnow-brained. they were allies!

Grinning like a mad man now . "we created a band that'll do good for riverclan only. It's a protection system, we protect the ones in our band and the ones in our clan. All of this is to make sure the clan is looked after . " he explained then a spark was seen in his eyes " it's called the AsterSoot band. It's made up of only the best cats in the clan. wormpaw blink, resisting the urge to flash back a grin at sootpaw. "of course i'll join, " he replied, "the army is mainly for offense and helping other apprentices so it'll be good to have another group for defense and hidden, " he nodded, turning his gaze to the ground. thoughts rumble through his mind, mumbling inaudible words under his breath. "i won't tell anyone, " he promised sincerely, his pink-tinted eyes staring into sootpaw's. wormpaw was big one thing: loyalty.

Happy beyond starclan. Sootpaw let loose a tear. Aside from his parents, wormpaw and Asterkit were like..family . But wormpaw more so than aster. It made him glad that he had their loyalty . He rested his chin on the lanky toms shoulder "thank you . I won't let you down..." he meowed . He'll do it to the best of his abilities anyways .

wormpaw let out a chuckle, nudging the tom softly with the side of his head. "oh cmon, don't get so emotional, " he teased in a warm tone, "you're my second-in-command. of course i would help, " the lanky apprentice stated, picking up his pace. he didn't want dirtfur to get too suspicious. "let's get to camp, " he mew.

wormpaw thought for a moment. they couldn't go into the territory in case of a warrior catching them. also they couldn't take a kit into the territory-- even if asterkit was nearing apprentice age. however it would be hard to do it in the camp. having cats gather would raise questions. "i'm not sure, " he finally mew, his eyebrows furrowed in frustration. "maybe near the apprentice den at nightfall? everyone else will be dead asleep from training and the battle, " wormpaw suggested.

Huh, what a strange name, for a strange cat. Eagleflight was puzzled. He seemed harmless enough, though.
"Yeah, I'm from RiverClan. Uh...What would you like to know?" He wasn't a very smart cat, but he did know that it might not be a great idea to march some stranger right into camp. What if this cat was plotting something against RiverClan, and that's why he wanted information? The tom was hesitant.
