Fleapaw opened his mouth wide with a smile in his eyes before it suddenly vanished and he closed his mouth. He thought a moment about it, was he actually fine? "Well uh..." Adults were so good at talking and his sister had really funny words, all he had was yelling and he didn't want to right now. He then shook his head firmly. "No I guess I'm not. I just don't get it.. And that's kinda upsetting." He said looking off to the sky, really thinking about it.
"Hmm, well there really isn't anything interesting that I know of.." She thought hard, "I mean, hunted, held ceremonies.. Just normal clan news and things" She shuffled her paws, she regretted jumping back but it's.. Just a reflex, after having a horrible father.. She actually hoped to become friends, no cat really wanted to talk to her after she.. became a She, basically.
Forestivy
ThunderClan Warrior
Female (She/Her)
The information provided (or rather the lack thereof) set Forestivy back a bit. Nothing? Based on what little she had heard, she had returned on the tail end of an awful sickness. Eitherthe Clan cats were spreading false rumors, or this one was nuts. Still, perhaps the stories she'd heard were blown out of proportion. She would have to do more digging later. Filing that mystery away for later, she returned her attention to the cat in front of her.
"Oh. Okay. We could talk about something else, ah…" Forestivy searched in vain to match a name to the face, but came up blank. "I'm sorry, I didn't get your name. I'm Forestivy. And you are?"

"AlpinePelt, nice too meet you." She got more comfortable so proceeded to settle down into a loafing position, softly licking her paws.

"That's a nice name," Forestivy said, sitting back on her haunches and wrapping her tail around her paws. Now that the situation had stabilized somewhat, Forestivy took the time to examine Alpinepelt. Alpinepelt was good-looking, certainly, and Forestivy couldn't deny her appreciation of her fellow warrior's appearance. Still, Alpine had seemed so jumpy earlier. Perhaps some conversing was in order.
"So, Alpinepelt," she started, "you seemed surprised that I was coming over to talk. May I ask why?" There was no malice in the she-cat's voice, just curiosity.

"I've just been.. Really jumpy, for as long as I can remember" she purred "I was also kind of nervous, I guess.. Nobody really talks to me, I don't know why though?" Was she even making sense right now? She tilted her head, waiting for a response from forestivy.

Rowanlark was rather boredly dozing in the warrior's den when Minkvenom called out to her, jumping slightly at the sudden sound of her name. She blinked herself into focus and turned to the she-cat with a smile– totally not trying to hide the fact that she had been startled.
"Ah, coming!" she responded, hopping to her paws and padding closer to Minkvenom, "I've been looking for a reason to get out of camp." Rowanlark had been itching to get out and moving since she had woken up, thankful for finally having the opportunity to do so.

"Perfect! Thunderclan could use few more cats like you," The molly purred, ignorant of the warrior's reaction to her shouting. She had too many things to think about, like where to patrol around the camp, and what areas to check that hadn't yet been marked. Surely Thunderclan would appreciate her making sure the territory had strong definition, even if that meant filling in the border patrol's gaps without being asked!
Her red spotted pelt dipped through the entrance and out into the frozen world, head raising to take in a breath of the incredibly crisp air. "Aah, now that's more like it!" She meowed, voice booming through the cold, still trees.

Fadingpaw yawned, stepping out of the Apprentices' Den with a dreary look. Bah. She should probably have stayed inside. It was WAY too cold. But now that she was out here, she didn't want to just turn back in! It would make her seem lazy! So instead she headed for the fresh-kill pile, making it look like she was getting ready to start the day, like a diligent, hard-working apprentice.

Lynxpaw blinks sympathetically at Fleapaw. "Yea, that sucks. Adults can be mouse-brains, assuming we know things and not explaining in ways we understand. I hope everything works out for you and Silverleopard. Or that you get a different mentor, if that's what you want."
Okay, so Lynxpaw isn't great at the whole conversation thing. Sue him, he doesn't have friends to converse with. What he does understand is adults having a higher expectation than possible. His parents made sure of that, which is why he left in the first place. Thankfully Sparrowpelt isn't like that. Or at least, he hasn't been so far. Lynxpaw really hopes it stays that way.
"So um...have you started any kind of training? Or learned anything interesting?"
