Branchwhisker sat, bored out of his mind in the clearing. He sighed. He might as well make himself useful. He picked up the last two skinny voles that he had caught the day before and headed toward the nursery. He stepped inside and spotted a tiny kit curled up. He dropped one of the voles in front of it.

Jaykit smelt vole and looked up hungerly "ooh!" he gobbled it up, he was six moons and would be hunting for prey soon. "oh, Uh, Hello." he said squeakaly he had been so hungery he hadn't noticed the brown warrior in front of him.
